Island or Peninsula ?

We are remodeling this house, painting the cabinets with new countertop but we are having a hard time deciding between an island or a peninsula. The space between countertop from left to right is 98 inches which means we could do a 24” wide island and still have 37” of space on each side of the island. We are just afraid it is not enough space to move around.
The other option is the peninsula but we are afraid the kitchen might be too wide from counter tk counter

    Hi sorry what is a peninsula? Your kitchen looks great like this. I would not build anything between the sink and the fridge for example, it wont be practical to work in this space

    Purhaps a few wall canibets in the corner, built on the floor, to define kitchens and dining rooms spaces better
