Glessner Basement
Interesting idea (based on layout) to gain additional hosting space
Love the feel. Curtain divider idea.
Like the decorations. Also smart idea for bench (with storage) using every inch of the basement
This would be an example of the music setup
I know we are running out of space... but a little area for a "Beachbody" workout on TV with basic free weights would be fantastic. Could serve as multi-purpose area for kids art work. Although, the garage might be a great spot to consider as well for this. (with new A/C)
Love the recessed wine rack. Stone facade (although I would go for something more bold). Reasonable dry bar.
I could be swayed to have some storage below the stair case.
This is interesting if we rethought how the wall separates the storage unit from the living space. Yes that means tearing out brand new construction, but solves for the additional storage space, water supply line being on the wrong side,
I like the wooden railing. Perhaps even the possibility of one day doing the kids access panel... or just storage.
another example of additional seating
I love the idea of two functional beds (hidden) on the side of the basement where the water supply lines are.
We like the built-in cabinets look next to the TV. Also allows for that additional seating behind primary seating. (we would not do tv arm chairs... we are more couch ppl)
I love the dimensional accents of the wall with the lighting. Rock wall behind TV (although we don't like brick)
This might be a little too excentric... but this looks funky, fun, and comfortable. Love the overall vibe of this design.
Love the curved bar design. Just enough drink selection space to host one nights worth a party
Love the layout (if we go on the west side of the house wall). Extra seating, cool side table, L-shaped couch. Hate the ottoman, chair, and art work. Not sue about the wood paneling for the back wall.
Not a fan of the railing... but this captures the open feel we are looking for.
If we wanted a smaller bar (with no seating)... but shelf space for snacks. Don't like the color
