Loving the simplicity of this copper pendant
I'm gravitating towards copper and glass pendants and seems to me that I tend to like the industrial style
Copper pendants
copper kitchen faucett
Copper Kitchen sink
I like these kinds of sconces for the walls in the living area
Wall hung toilet and bidet
This is a nice toilet and bidet. Sleek
Another wall ung toilet. It’s just a cleaner look as well as actually being easier to keep clean around it
Wall hung toilets. This is a European style toilet but they’re wall hung. Looks like they have them in the states too. Love
This is the dark brass. The initial pic was burnished brass
Brass Apron sink. Texas Lightsmith in Austin TX makes them and they are solid brass. Since I'm going with 2 metals throughout the house, Brass and Black this sink will be so cool, especially with the butcher block counter top and I'll be getting a brass and black stove.
These are the style sconces that I wanted around the living area of the house (bigger scale though)
This is the concept of the kitchen island but I'd want the dining table part to be reclaimed wood, so it looks old. Then a nice big block of quartz or something for the actual island
I like this ladder concept (for my master closet) So english looking. perfect for short people
This kind of island might be an idea where the kitchen side is quartz and the lower is butcher block.
I like this hood also
Fabulous hood. Lots of character. Also like the light above the island
Really cool looking zinc hood. Could be brass or an unfinished stainless steel (ie not polished steel)
Stainless steel and brass hood. I like brass. Not too hard to maintain and will go with my theme of 2 metals throughout the house
Brass Hood. I want 2 metals in the house and am thinking Brass and black metal. So perhaps the hood and the faucett's could be brass and the island lights and cabinet fittings could be black. But just wanted to work with 2 metals. Not sure yet on the upkeep of brass so still thinking about it.
This is nice but the cabinets would be better with black pulls and stuff and the lights and faucetts could be raw brass. It's important to be raw brass so that it develops a patina over time. Will look gorgeous over time if left to develop that patina. (NOT gold, although gold is making a comeback - I specifically am looking for raw brass). Was thinking of copper but not sure as it's harder to maintain.
I want to use 2 metals throughout the house. Brass and black whatnot. So perhaps Black cabinet pulls but brass (raw brass) faucet and perhaps raw brass light fixters in kitchen and bathrooms. Brass will add warmth. Black will maintain the black and white house but brass will add warmth as well as interest.
Just note this mantle. I’ll need a mantle above the fireplace in the living room. It’s all about Christmas. Can’t do Christmas without a mantle. This one is super cool with the metal ornamentation
Cool wooden patio ceiling
I wanted the ceiling of my patio and entry way done with wood. Painted white of course to match the interior. Distressed white painting. I forgot to mention that
Interest added with the simple cross design at the top. It can be as simple as doing that which will add the interest
Interest added with the wooden bits and the curvature of the roofline.
This white and black house looks great. Look at how interest was added with the wooden bits. I like that
This brick has texture. Maybe if we have to keep it a simple design then we add the interest with the texture
White painted brick exterior but look at how creative they got with the way they laid the bricks and designed it. Looks brilliantly simple even though I suspect it’s not simple to do
Now this is pretty cool island and toning table at different levels
This is what I mean about a 2 level island and dining table
Another simple characterization is retro cabinets. Simplicity
I actually like these retro cabinets because they’re simpler than even shaker style cabinets. I had shaker cabinets in my last kitchen. I want simpler than that in this house
OR we do 2 islands
This is the look of the actual butcher block that I like. Chunky looking with the grains and patterns of the wood
2 level island. This is pretty cool with the sink higher and the rest at dining table height
2 level island. Loving this. Not the materials but I like the concept
2 level island. Mine will be on a larger scale but the idea is there
2 level island. This one is cool. I just don’t want a high dining area. I want normal dining chairs and not counter height chairs
So this island BUT vice versa. So the sink part be the taller part and the surrounding part be the shorter part
2 level island. This ones rather cool
Here’s another view of the 2 level island. Want the dining part wider and no curves. I don’t care for curves. I like straight lines
This is a two level island. I like it but want the actual dining table part wider
I think I love this style of shower with overhead rain shower, and one on either side of the wall with one of them being a handheld shower thingamagig. Prefer frameless or no glass at all but I'm thinking I'll be limited with that because of where the bathroom is and how it's been designed. I love the window. Can't go wrong with a million windows.
This is my idea of a brilliant laundry room. washer / dryer, deep sink for soaking whites, and then the most fabulous doggy bathing shower next to it. How lovely
If I had something like this cupboard in my kitchen then I might not need to have my coffee/tea in the pantry. I'm not hooked on it though because I didn't really want upper cabinets. Cleaner look without upper cabinets in the kitchen
I like these square white backsplash tiles for the kitchen. I also like that they are shiny (that's about the only kind of bling I like - bit muted but bling nonetheless).
This copper hood is simple but elegant. I like it
