island plus table; pretty cramped. again, interesting to have the kitchen open out backwards
interesting open double doors from kitchen out to outside; using space under stairs for bookshelves/closet?
i wonder what the square footage is; double doors out to the side yard; wood floors create unity; hard to tell how these rooms intersect
reminds me of our old house; ecletic, historical, beautiful craftsmanship and great light. Also gorgeous wood floors
Not sure how JG will like this; I like the smaller scale, efficiency. Tile floor adds cool interest but as with backplash, would rather add transient pops of color
also simple palette, wood counter is rounded; farm sink is a little trendy; small appliances?, simple horizontal pulls below, vertical above. limited upper cabinets block hood from being too lumpy, but they also leave room for light/space around them.
interesting glassed enclosure, lets light in, creates some separation. Awesome original hardware on awesome doors.
wood detail, white, not too fussy/bland; tile works okay, sink under window, hood in this view unintrusive
very narrow island, with details underneath; adds dimension to the space, pink lights, mod stools
simple mix of mod plus ceiling trim, big windows; exceessive curtain/wallpaper etc, but rounded end of table, mix of wood color
although the crosshatch cabinets are busy, it's nice to have the open flat display shelf mid-way down. also detail of 'feet' makes it appear lighter. Kind of 40's flavor and a bit homey. not a home run, but intersting that it appeals
love the wood countertops, their warmth and quietness. corner windows very good. simple cabinets but have a science lab look, are they metal? subway tiles a little too trendy plus grout can stain/be hard to clean
cool vintage map print, crosshatching on cabinets, palate, blinds and fixture both neutral, seating by window
nice but too white; open, lights are nice, under cabinet lighting. green too permanent; hood blocky
stools, black floor, marble too hard. interesting under-bar storage space. sink under window. skylight. pendants a little low.
light fixture. pulls are too strong as is marble; repainted brick adds some depth. contrast of open shelving is nice, but open shelves could be a hassle/dust
light, clerestory windows, lower cabinets, open, wood/white mix; bright geometric carpets. A little blocky
window, open cabinets, simple natural; a little harsh tho
simplicity appeals, and comfort; mid-century table/lamp/chair with older style cabinets and doors
interesting/different; grid not necessary, but contained and still connected?
more casual feeling (partly their staging!)
lightweight but sturdy chairs, light/windows. not the fixutre, and beams not necessary.
benjamin moore Revere Pewter siding, Iron Mountain shuttes.
undercounter sink; color with window frame
lighting: skylight, cans, undercabinet, door with glass; dark wood accents
color and feel, not too new, no too old. window to the east, window to the south. tho hard to add table instead of counters
framed doorway to mudroom
white upper cabinets, doorway to mudroom
thin cabinets
cabinet style is modern/retro/country. Hood melds in well. white predominant
paper towel dispenser below teh cabinet, above garbage
butcherblock counter atop pullout wastebasket
height and 'furniture' look of tall cabinets w oven. Could make the inclusion in the LR/DR make more sense. Avoids overhead cabinets on the wall that faces the room.
pale green tone, corner effect, wood floors
grey-green tone
wide windowsill, ?floors
windows, wood and white combo, rug, black window trim
raw wood headers, reclaimed
pastel-ish, but in brighter tones
my usual, nepeta, geraniums - add allium?, bright blue salvia
