Caribbean Inspired Coastal Cottage. Wide back stairs are a great idea.
Caribbean Inspired Coastal Cottage. I want a slightly more formal fitout.
Caribbean Inspired Coastal Cottage
Caribbean Inspired Coastal Cottage. Another great passthrough. Would like a passthough to the BBQ area (even more than to the dining room if I can only have one).
Caribbean Inspired Coastal Cottage. So like the Coolgardie. Would like a 2 way fireplace. This would probably be a great spot for a built in BBQ/Pizza oven too. Pool & deck 2 bunkies & gym room outside of the screening.
Caribbean Inspired Coastal Cottage. I love the double height transoms for the back wall (glass wall - but not west facing).
Classical Townhouse. So pretty.
Beaux Arts Estate. Want his office dark.
Beaux Arts Estate
Carolina Jessamine Cabin | Pine Mountain, Georgia. One of the bunkies should be a twin.
Lowcountry Carriage House. Delightful -the greenhouse could feel something like this (with raised beds for herbs and lettuce).
Lowcountry Carriage House. I wouldn't have twin sinks here - one would suffice.
Lowcountry Carriage House
Lowcountry Carriage House. Just love this room. Lovely use of accent timber/cane.
Lowcountry Carriage House. Stunning bedroom - timeless.
Lowcountry Carriage House. This is where he would put the granny flat. If this is far enough away from the main house (or on lower ground) it would work (single story house - don't want the garage taller). The problem is they might have trouble with the stairs (if the top floor banks in a hill could add a bridge & would work?)
Mountain High Style. Brown and Green. Hopefully it won't be dubbed "Hamptons" - British Colonial bones for away from the beach.
Mountain High Style. All you need in a pantry (perhaps a chest freezer? - It could go in the garage too or on the deck covered in a table cloth...)
Mountain High Style. Perfect kitchen layout with a breakfast nook.
Mountain High Style. Stunning Trim work/panelling. This would be my idea with a stained glass windows in the passthrough between the kitchen (lose the plate wall)
Mountain High Style. Transoms. I want a (2 way) fireplace on my back wall something like this (2 way so we can enjoy it from the Coolgardie or deck too.
Mountain High Style
Mountain High Style. Nice little guest house. I want more of granny flat for long term (bigger 1 bed. I know exactly what I want there) as far away from the main house as possible (but still accessible via the driveway/motor court).
Mountain High Style. The garage is attached by an enclosed passage way.
Mountain High Style. Love how they have turned the Gambrel - such great presence.
Idea Cottage in the Hamptons. Nice lattice. I want the Bunkies & a Gym room around the pool deck like this. Ideally I will tuck at least single garage under the house (for my car). He can park far away in his very large shed with a hoist. Bogan heaven. His shelf queens & Monaro & what ever other old klunkers he acquires will be happy there....
Idea Cottage in the Hamptons. Looks a darker brown in the book. Still loving the brown for his pick (more of a Handsome house than the Vic Homestead. His is masculine: deep colour with lots of white trim. Mine (too big now) is feminine: Pretty pastels would be better>
Idea Cottage in the Hamptons. Like the Beadboard & cane/timber accents. The current house has a similar tile - cute, but want something less busy/more calming. Would be great in the Bunkie bath.
Idea Cottage in the Hamptons. Window seats are my fav.
Idea Cottage in the Hamptons. Such a charming space. Love it (accessed via the dining area below).
Idea Cottage in the Hamptons. This is the diminutive sitting room in the guest house above the garage. Built in Double or Queen Mattress to the right.
Idea Cottage in the Hamptons
Idea Cottage in the Hamptons. Love this layout. My ideal really (with a pantry & or Butlers either linking to the dining room or behind the oven wall). Liking the idea of hanging the pots (oven preferred but the island would be ok).
Idea Cottage in the Hamptons
Idea Cottage in the Hamptons. My house will be single story - so a guest house above the garage won't work - don't want the garage taller than the house.
Idea Cottage in the Hamptons. (In their 1st book). Great little guest house with a build in bed above the garage here. He would like the guest room above the garage - but I want it on the ground for aging relatives.
Idea Cottage in the Hamptons
Kitchen can be closed off from the rest of the house. It has a great passthrough. The passthrough would be a great spot for some stained glass windows (either reclaimed or new) - pocket windows would be the dream.
Wonderful passthrough (I adore the layout of this kitchen. Want mine to lead to both the BBQ area & the Greenhouse if possible).
Fantastic kitchen layout with passthrough. Like the VJ's painted Gloss white.
