Living Room Ideas
Absolutely LOVE this Dining Room! The wide doorway, the furnishings & paint color (different from, but coordinated to the Living Room), creates just the right amount of separation between the two rooms--NICE!
Simply elegant!
Floor-to-ceiling shelving, and a sturdy library ladder maximizes storage.
I love the way this house has layers of interesting decor, on the walls, floors, tables--very Victorianesque, yet not encrusted with antiques (though antiques are definitely a part of things).
The wood siding on the walls, the porcelain tub, the large windows, the pretty rug & that antique chair...SO INVITING!
I like SEVERAL things about this space: The two steps down from the rest of the house makes it seem more private and special (a destination point!). The two doorways that keep traffic circulating, The tall windows & high ceilings in both rooms keep things light and airy. And finally, that fireplace adds a ton of personality & coziness. LOVE IT!
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Those soaring, beamed ceilings! GORGEOUS!
LOVE-LOVE-LOVE this warm, cozy and elegant space! Especially that AMAZING CEILING! WOW!
Love, love, love the built-in bookshelves flanking the fireplace, as well as the "matching set" of windows. Super warm and inviting for my family!
LOVE the concealed storage over the fireplace for the tv, SO PRETTY! After all who wants to look at dead, black space? Also love the flanking bookshelves with beadboard-TOO CUTE!
I love this entire room, it is just LOVELY!
Another GREAT fireplace treatment: note the wrap-around mantle, and the vertical paneling mitigated by the horizontal piece of molding placed at the same height as the dining nook's ceiling.
This brick fireplace has nice tones in it, a pretty, arched opening, and makes this Living Room look very cozy-LOVE IT!
Great retro idea: stenciling on wallpaper (check out youtube)
LOVE this fireplace!
A better view of those LOVELY pillows!
I really like this furniture, and the tones & designs in the pillow fabric is SUPER PRETTY!
I am admiring the built-in room divider & bookshelves, SO PRETTY! I also like that they chose brick flooring, rather than wood. This is probably more practical than wood, in some cases. But, I would choose a different brick.
LOVE this fireplace!
I love the way that they used delicate stenciling to create panels. Really pretty and soft.
