Meret/Pownall Kitchen Renovation Wish List
L kinda like something similar Me too! Yeah! -Jeffrey
chewing over the upper lit cabinet - e isn't sold on it though
this would hide the dust at least from being in view if boxing it would seem visually heavy
I like the way this would hide the range hood and not make another surface to dust
aside from the sharing of the rack with cutlery, I like the horizontal sto
if it was a wall oven, this type storage would be good as well
good flat stuff storage Yes. I'll have some vertical pullouts. - J
seems like economical storage for the kind of crap
the pullout!!!! finally! Cool. But pullouts that open onto the countertop require you to NOT have anything on the countertop, which isn't always practical. But there will be pullouts. - J
the double wide I could see being a good thing for us and would be prettier than stacking them double deep
nice knife storage
I do like the way the wood trim is brought in even though we don't want open cupboards
this double deep stacking looks cluttered, but I like the accoutrements being there too
full pull out faces - love it! Definitely. - J
like the pull out without doors in your face, but do not like the sideways opening on them
only if there is a weird space to fill
pull outs - yeah
clean look semi-gloss cabinets, continuous floor and visually the eye is drawn to nice objects, fixtures and outside
cute accent on the range hood tied to floor colour
the floor to trim symettry, hidden range hood and colour contrast looks ok on the island
white, bright clean and colour is for accent pops I'm all about popping accents. - J
kinda like the countertop
the countertop is a nice wood look and very warm looking
yep, not a bad option
the way the wood pulls up the side to the countertop is visually very nice It's called a waterfall end. It's definitely an option that we can/have done. It looks great. - J
pull out pantry is nice - no wheels not the bottom dragging on the floor though please. I'd never drag a pullout. and yeah.. no wheels. Our hardware is robust. - J
leif finds this very pretty even though its near the opposite of everything we have been discussing
it's minimalistic, stark and pretty how they have blended the wood and black, but dunno.
something for recycling
the insets make it visually interesting to L. though don't want dust catching surfaces like on the left
the white certainly draws your eyes to contrasting trims and to the outside world - l finds this a little visually boring though Me too. Needs a better backsplash at the very least. - J
wood floor, white cabinet, and grey counter -
clean white cabinets and no weird handles and hardware, needs a coloured countertop though Agreed. - J
one of these could be handy And you shall have it! :-) - J
this is how I'd like the hinges to open out of the way Yes! - J
L likes the contrast and light uppers, boxed range hood
lots of pantry space that's easy to see what you have
not our first colour choices, but its clean and has faces like we are interested in
clean white pullout pantry - kinda what we had pictured in our mind
Jeffrey: I like this overall look of soapstone in terms of colour/darkness level. Looks goof with white (and the wood (looking) floors.
