I love the colors, the beams, the floors, and finishes on this Ok I also agree with this. Especially as I am a light palette person. Bonus that these floors look similar to what we have. The beams in this case would be superimposed over drywall right? I wondered if that as necessary as I'm sure the quality of the beams in our attic are not very suitable for show.
Ok I know our ceiling isn't high enough for this in the dining room, but I have always loved this. We can make this happen
I like the fence
That bench and table look so uncomfortable. Actually i love that door
Like the carport design. The one issue of that is where would we put all the junk currently in the garage?
I'll stop with the bench designs after this one. I swear **** I've been thinking and looking at the real plans. Is there any way to maybe have one of these benches delineate the master garden area on the grass side? To tie it all together.
Very dramatic
Ok I love this too. I have a little herb garden outside the kitchen window.
I seem to really be a fan of the bench running along a concrete wall. I still think that would look awesome in the pool area on the drive side
Like the furniture
Where can we get a crystal dear head?!?
Ok. Can't sleep so looking at ideas for a small private garden off the master. I'm afraid the beast has been unleashed. You will be so tired of me by the time this is done.
I love that. Especially the ladder. Any chance to put in a cool ladder is appreciated.
Ok a very big and bulky Murphy bed but so cool! We also have a ton of books. Everywhere. We don't need a library per se but shelves would be nice
Ok and while I'm on this note I have always loved Murphy beds. Not sure why, maybe be the hidden aspect of it.
I see this is not actually a built-in booth. I think I would maybe like a built in more? But then that would be fewer navy chairs....
I also wanted to add that I have always loved booths. They are just so cozy and functional and fun. Not sure if that is possible in the kitchen, but I love the way it looks at the window in this picture. We could always build a booth/ sitting area overlooking the pool? then run the kitchen more into what is the table area now? just a thought
OK, those stools are pretty awesome!
OK, that is pretty awesome between the outside and the kitchen. But again the lack of screen would drive me nuts! I guess there are bug machines....
This is pretty cool looking too!
yes, please. I HATE our brick color.
As an fyi, I hate all of the vertical lines on this house. Actually, I like the roof, it's the walls that should go.
I realize this is a different pitch from our roof, but I do love the open feel. Which of course means sound will travel more. And on that note, can we put baffling or something in new walls that minimize sound between rooms? I know, I keep harping on this point but it's hard to sleep when others want to watch TV , etc. It's also the main reason I hold on to a formal living room....
OK that is a very cool transition, though again while I love the open doors, I worry that with mosquitoes it would be better to enter into a screened in porch
As you may have noticed, I like hooks. They help me stay neater than I actually am
I am also a fan of the pavers with green in between. Though I suppose this is something Matt should weigh in on. Are those cheaper than concrete decking? Not sure why I am asking this on a comment.
back side of the fireplace. pretty cool!
So Matt was saying that he would get rid of the door to the bar area if we had a door outside. Which got me to thinking, is there a way to put a little private garden off the master? How cool would that be to have it all sequestered with french doors that open outside? anyway, I just thought about it especially as the side of the house is never used...
OK, well I'm going to have to say not only too much wood here also, but those shelves look ridiculous.
nope- too much wood
OK, cool room but in the end a little too austere/ fancy for us.But it used to be their garage!
I like that door. These are taken from a renovated Dallas ranch. Not sure if Matt likes the door, he isn't here right now.
OK, I realize that there are massive limitations on budget, but just to let you know the indoor outdoor fireplace is super cool. And we use our fireplace in the winter, so I would prefer to keep something that burns wood and is not just for show
Here's another angle that I don't like. It's official
OK, I actually don't like this kitchen at all, but not sure why? I thought it may be useful to know what modern we don't like.
If we were to do something with the front, I like the color and the square columns as an update
OK, so not the color, per se, but the door is cool
Actually this is the first cabinet set that is wood that I like. must be the chairs...
OK, so I notice these chairs in every movie or TV show I watch and absolutely love them. If there was one bit of furniture we could incorporate into a design, I would vote for these!
OK, I love this fancy ovens, especially the crazy color modern ones But I don't think Matt does as much. I would love to have two ovens if possible, And a gas range if possible.
Matt loves the exposed modern looking hood. I like most of them
Just a vanity, but not sure how safe this wall mounted large ones are? Or whether a master bath should have an actual to the floor vanity instead of this? I don't want to kill resale, so I leave that to you.
ditto, and damn this one is expensive! Didn't notice that before...
Oh we liked this design, and thought it may be pretty inexpensive? On that note, I was wondering if we (Master wish list) closed in the garage and needed a carport- would we want to match the design of the structure to the pool cabana? like this one? That might be kind of cool. Just a thought.
Oh we really liked this, very awesome looking. But not sure if the pizza wood oven thing would actually be functional? That looks like one of those things I would add but never actually use.
Awesome trellis!
