Ian and his team at Provençale have done an amazing job in making our dream kitchen in our ‘new build’ a reality! From start to finish Ian has worked closely with us and our builder to make sure everything is perfect and is exactly what we wanted. Nothing is too much trouble and at times I admit we definitely tried his patience! I would recommend Provencale to anyone looking for an inspirational quality kitchen styled and fitted by top class workmen.

We have known Ian for 20 years, when he designed and installed our first kitchen. Recently we have undergone a big refurbishment/new kitchen and Ian was at the forefront with his ideas/plans and then finally doing the work in March 2021. He project managed the whole thing; from electrical, plumbing, installing etc We had walls knocked through to open up the kitchen into the lounge and it has become one big open plan living space. It works brilliantly. We cannot express enough how it all went to plan from the first drawing to completion - nothing was too much trouble - it was excellent service Cannot recommend him enough. He reassured us all the way through and we had 100% trust.

Ian is throughly professional and friendly He came and saw us. Had a few ideas. Came up with lots of suggestions we would never have thought of. He never tried to sell us what we didn’t need. In fact said we should use existing appliances as they were Bosch and only 2 years old Andy the fitter was excellent. Very tidy very likeable Nothing was too much trouble for them I would highly recommend this company

Ian has done a wonderful job of our kitchen renovation. We were confident in his ability to create our dream kitchen, and he certainly delivered. The process was easy throughout, and Ian was regularly on site to oversee operations. Aftercare has also been second to none. We would highly recommend!

We were introduced to Ian by friends who had used him to design and install not one, but two kitchens. They recommended Ian because of his ability to listen and interpret their needs, understanding what they needed from their living kitchen space and his honest and clever approach to design layouts and smart solutions, and having worked with Ian ourselves, we can wholeheartedly say that he delivers exactly that and more. The renovation of our home would create a blank canvas for an entirely new kitchen that needed to be functorial and to an exceptional standard. Ian listened to our ideas and needs and whilst reviewing our architect's plans for our space came up with a design that ticked every single box. As we were 100+ miles from Ian, we visited his office once to explore the finer points in relation to storage options, drawers, pantry options and at the same time narrowed down the cupboard colour and finish. Despite the distance, we could not be happier with our kitchen and the experience of working with Ian, it meets every one of our needs, including a fantastic bespoke pantry (that we did not think we could achieve) and is a perfect working space that seamlessly integrates with the rest of our open plan living area. The quality of Ian’s work, his knowledge, ideas, solutions and approach are all exceptional and you would be hard-pressed to replicate them elsewhere. We would happily recommend Ian to anyone looking to design a new kitchen and would use him again.

We were to complete a self build for the first time and I was recommended to Ian, although I did also visit other kitchen companies for my key requirements; inspiration, quality, choice and budget. These were not found any where else. I had a large space to play with and I wanted to ensure the space was planned to its best potential. Ian guided and supported me throughout the project and was always at the end of a phone or email to complete any updates or answer any questions. We initially met at his business in Swadlincote where I was able to see products on show and when Ian was able, he met on site with us to ensure the build kept to the design. The finished project is magnificent and the quality is exceptional. Ian turned a blank canvas into a sophisticated space. Our utility space off the kitchen was also fitted at the same time which tied in with the same design. I would highly recommend Provencale Kitchens for your project.

The term 'excellent service' can often be used flippantly in today's internet world but without doubt, this is what we received from Ian & his team. We undertook major renovation work on our 1930's property and as part of that process we happened on Ian's details on Houzz. From our very first meeting, Ian stood out from all other designers/suppliers we had met previously. Ian's knowledge, attention to detail and the creative ideas he brought to the table were on a completely different level with nothing ever being too much trouble. From the moment we met Ian, we knew we were on to a winner when we saw the level of detail he went into specific to the symmetrical layout, the clear lines of sight, the centering of wall cupboards etc, Ian thinks of everything right down to the view of our garden when sitting down for your breakfast. The major building works were already contracted to a third party builder when we first met with Ian, therefore in the first instance Ian was working off a theoretical floor plan only, from this starting point, Ian produced some amazing ideas including utilising an old fire place & chimney to house our amazing cooker wall. In truth, Ian's own building work expertise was invaluable as the builders we had contracted were partial to a shortcut or two. Even though this construction work was not in Ian's remit, he frequently visited us during the process and his eye for detail ensured we made it through the major works unscathed and more importantly, without build compromises that we would not have spotted without his knowledge & advice. Once Ian and his team moved in to fulfil his amazing Hacker kitchen design, the installation process was seamless, slick and not a £1 over budget. Our next project is our somewhat forlorn bathroom and there is only one phone call we will be making and that will be to Ian. In summary, if you are looking for the kitchen of your dreams, Ian and his team will not let you down. Simply superb and I cant ever thank him enough. We would recommend in a heart beat. I have had an extension and remodel of the kitchen and dining area and I used Provencale to supply and fit my new kitchen. I was advised well regarding the best use of space and options available to me based on my requirements and the look and feel I wanted to achieve. The kitchen fitting was done ahead of schedule and the service was always professional. I was kept up to date and well informed throughout the process. The new space looks fantastic and the kitchen is complimented by all. It is a fantastic social space which I enjoy cooking in. I would not hesitate to recommend Provencale.

Ian Philliskirk (Provençale) fitted a new 'Laura Ashley' kitchen for us in July 2019. From the start Ian was excellent in his advice, reliability, transparency and level of detail. After a home visit, we also visited him in his shop in Swadlincote (Derbyshire) to view some ideas and look at the design. His small team from the Plasterer, to the Electrician, and the Fitter/Carpenter (Andy) were all brilliant, and their level of detail and workmanship has been second to none. Ian also project managed the whole installation, keeping me informed regularly of any minor delays or slight adjustments, so there were no shocks or surprises. Clearly this wasn't a 'cheap' kitchen, but sometimes its worth paying that little bit more for a better quality product, service and peace of mind. I would have no issue in highly recommending Pronvencale.

We had our kitchen done by Ian and his team and from start to finish we were impressed by his knowledge ,care and professionalism . Nothing was too much trouble for Ian and he made sure that the whole project ran smoothly from start to finish . Ian made sure things such as the temporary Re siting of the washing machine was done on the same day . This is so important when you are still functioning as family within the home . Ian really was the epitome of professionalism . He also liased with other trades that we had organised ensuring that this was smooth and trouble free for all involved . We are beyond delighted with the finished project and would unreservedly recommend him to anyone who needs their kitchen , bedroom or bathroom doing . Well done to Ian and his team .

After moving into our new home in May 2017 we set upon finding a kitchen company/designer to help us with planning, designing and installing a modern contemporary kitchen. Initially we as most people went straight to the high street and reviewed the usual big players, however we were left wanting for our blank canvas to be better used. So we found Provencale on Houzz and booked a meeting with Ian to visit our house. From the very first time of meeting Provencale we knew that he was an expert in his knowledge and was able to fully differentiate Provencale from other larger suppliers. He suggested some innovative and modern ideas including to build a part-hidden cabinet wall (see pictures) which now is the show piece of our final kitchen, we thought at the time inspirational. Over the next few meetings we started to build a relationship with Ian and i felt a trust forming with Provencale which is so important when going through such a big project in your new house. Ian did not try and rush our decision and was meticulous in every detail ensuring that our design was exactly what we wanted. We opted in the end for a made to measure German kitchen from Hacker with Siemens appliances to which the quality is far above other kitchens and appliances we reviewed and we would highly recommend them. From placing the order to finished installed kitchen Ian and his team were able to work with our project team keeping us informed, on time and within the set out budget. I will also say that any delivery issues that were found from suppliers were quickly rectified and fixed to a high standard - there was no leaving us in the dark at any time and this gave us great comfort. My advice is to meet with Ian and his team and give him your vision, creativity and idea playbook and let him make your dream a reality as they really can. We are so pleased with our new kitchen, Ian created us a space which we as a family are now able to share more time together and enjoy our new home fully.
