Contemporary Maple Kitchen
The thinking about this upgrade started as soon as these creative homeowners purchased this 90's contemporary 2-story. But, Mrs. Homeowner was wary of the disruption such an undertakingwould create. So, other projects came first.
As the years passed from the first successful endeavor the desire to make a change in the kitchen grew stronger. But, as the design process started in earnest another project moved to Priority #1. Finally, the much needed help for the kitchen/family room rose to the top of the list.
The design process took nearly a year and involved at least six concepts before a final layout was agreed upon. Once it was fleshed out the concept took many more turns before a final plan was reached. Even then the process of refinement continued almost to the end of construction.
We encourage homeowner participation from day one of the design process until and even after the project is completed. That is the way the signature on their new spaces are theirs, not ours. This is indeed the homeowners' signature. We just do the interpreting.
