The Urban EnsembleThe terrace is a harmonious blend of natural elements and cultural motifs, capturing the essence of the Africa. The seating arrangement features comfortable and earthy-toned Aztec cushions, reminiscent of the colors found in the African landscape. Wooden flooring adds an authentic touch to the terrace, while the chairs evoke the ambience of a safari camp creating an immersive environment that is bathed in a warm glow of a setting sun surrounded by the lush green foliage.
Julieta Esteban RosellVivienda familiar con marcado carácter de la arquitectura tradicional Canaria, que he ha querido mantener en los elementos de fachada usando la madera de morera tradicional en las jambas, las ventanas enrasadas en el exterior de fachada, pero empleando materiales y sistemas contemporáneos como la hoja oculta de aluminio, la plegable (ambas de Cortizo) o la pérgola bioclimática de Saxun. En los interiores se recupera la escalera original y se lavan los pilares para llegar al hormigón. Se unen los espacios de planta baja para crear un recorrido entre zonas de día. Arriba se conserva el práctico espacio central, que hace de lugar de encuentro entre las habitaciones, potenciando su fuerza con la máxima apertura al balcón canario a la fachada principal.

Phantom ScreensLocated in the foothills of the North Georgia Appalachians, Big Canoe is just one hour north of Atlanta. Designed as a dream retirement home, this luxurious lodge melds mountainous terrain with many custom features and modern amenities.
During the warmer months, the homeowners enjoy spending time on their back porch, entertaining and taking in the spectacular views. In order to combat the biting insects, allow the cool breezes to flow through their home and preserve unobstructed views, the home owners requested retractable screens to be installed on their doors, windows, and back porch.
Screens of Georgia, Phantom Screens Authorized Distributor, installed Professional retractable door screens on several doorways throughout the home. Providing natural ventilation while keeping insects out of the house, the screens blend with custom doorways and retract out of sight when not in use. Perfect for the oversized front double-French entryway, Professional door screens do not detract from the look and feel of the lodge design.
Unique DwellingThe front entrance is positioned on the side of the house with a view. So we created an interesting staircase beside a 2 story deck. Window placement and room layout was really important in this house to maximize the view.
DANE AUSTIN INTERIOR DESIGN Boston & CambridgeComplete with bamboo shades, party lights, and a charming stenciled ceiling, in warmer months, the 9-by-12-foot deck offers extra space for entertaining. The colorful decor was inspired by a vacation in Mexico.
