Sweeping Glass fronts make this wine room visible and noticed from every angle within the main living area in this home. Right off of the main dining room, this custom cellar exudes elegance, adding a modern and contemporary touch to this otherwise traditional style home.
The upper section includes metal wine racking / metal wine racks with triple depth, showcasing each bottle horizontally so that your favorite labels are front and center.
Directly below lies a sweeping high reveal angled display of the most prized vintages, shown off with LED lighting within. This raw oak wine racking melds perfectly with the mixed colors of beiges and browns within the wooden flooring.
Finishing underneath with a traditional diamond bin design, this wine cellar melds the old with the new, the time honored with the cutting edge - the traditional with the modern. This project, however, utilized a single pane glass to keep the minimalist style. Because of this, the recessed cooling system in the back portion of the cellar has been oversized a touch, to ensure that this wine cellar / wine room / wine closet / under the stairs wine cellar / glass wine cellar / custom wine cellar continues to maintain a constant 55 degree temperature and proper relative humidity.

Luxury ElementsThis residential elegant wine room that can accommodate over 600 wine bottles was designed and installed by Luxury Elements builders. In this wine room conversion project, the client wanted to build a traditional wine display that utilizes both wood and metal. All of the wine racks are made of Pine wood, to which a rustic wood stain was applied and a clear lacquer finish for a classy look, while the horizontal racks were made of aluminum. The wine cabinets utilize LED lighting which generate little amounts of heat, and is the most energy efficient lighting source available, thus making it a must on all LE projects.

The arch display can be used as a space to decant/pour wine, and the table itself as somewhere to sample and enjoy it.
A chandelier illuminates the wine room, through the use of LED lighting. Recessed LED lights were also placed above the horizontal display rows (right).
There are horizontal display areas, which store the bottles in a label forward orientation. We used Mahogany for the racking. It is durable and more attractive when stained.

Wine Cellars by CoastalA fusion of styling, this residential wine cellar was filled with traditional Heart Redwood St. Louis custom wine racks. Its foremost wall and entry were made of seamless, tempered glass, for optimum wine display; a distinctly modern element. The result was this gorgeously contemporary wine room.
Depicted here are wooden custom wine racks. They were installed as a part of the 'Contemporary Custom Wine Cellar in St. Louis Missouri' project.
The racks were crafted from All Heart Redwood. All Heart Redwood is highly sought-after. Its natural rosy hue and resistance to cold and humidity makes it the ideal wine storage material, as it fulfills both aesthetic and functionality requirements.
Specifically, Diamond Bin, Standard, single-bottle deep, and wine display racks were utilized. They showcase the wine to great effect, and lend a beauty of their own to the wine cellar. We used the Cooperage style wine barrel flooring.
The racks were left unfinished, to allow the wood to age naturally, and to give the cellar a clean, authentic look.
To cool the cellar, we installed an efficient refrigeration system from CellarPro.
