This ocean-front shingled Gambrel style house is home to a young family with little kids who lead an active, outdoor lifestyle. My goal was to create a bespoke, colorful and eclectic interior that looked sophisticated and fresh, but that was tough enough to withstand salt, sand and wet kids galore. The palette of coral and blue is an obvious choice, but we tried to translate it into a less expected, slightly updated way, hence the front door! Liberal use of indoor-outdoor fabrics created a seamless appearance while preserving the utility needed for this full time seaside residence.

Cast Glass Images Inc.
Cast Glass privacy screens add character and can still make an impression. The texture and design of glass screens utilizing cast glass can be dramatic or simple - both options can still provide the desired privacy. Featured texture is a combination of two textures "Sand" and "Brushed" on clear glass with a frosted finish.

In the upstairs Hallway we installed vertical ship lap for a paneled look and set grass cloth wallcovering inside the panels. The we hung some bright oil paintings with coastal themes. This is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the view of the water.

The owners of this beachfront retreat wanted a whole-home remodel. They were looking to revitalize their three-story vacation home with an exterior inspired by Japanese woodcraft and an interior the evokes Scandinavian simplicity. Now, the open kitchen and living room offer an energetic space for the family to congregate while enjoying a 360 degree coastal views.
Built-in bunkbeds for six ensure there’s enough sleeping space for visitors, while the outdoor shower makes it easy for beachgoers to rinse off before hitting the deckside hot tub. It was a joy to help make this vision a reality!
