Kristin Lam InteriorsClean, contemporary white oak slab cabinets with a white Chroma Crystal White countertop. Cabinets are set off with sleek stainless steel handles. The appliances are also stainless steel. The diswasher is Bosch, the refridgerator is a Kenmore professional built-in, stainless steel. The hood is stainless and glass from Futuro, Venice model. The double oven is stainless steel from LG. The stainless wine cooler is Uline. the stainless steel built-in microwave is form GE. The irridescent glass back splash that sets off the floating bar cabinet and surrounds window is Vihara Irridescent 1 x 4 glass in Puka. Perfect for entertaining. The floors are Italian ceramic planks that look like hardwood in a driftwood color. Simply gorgeous. Lighting is recessed and kept to a minimum to maintain the crisp clean look the client was striving for. Medford RemodelingAnother item on the client’s wish list was a built-in doggie station for their two large dogs. This custom unit was designed with convenience in mind: a handy pot-filler was hard piped in for easy water bowl refills. The same glass backsplash tile and granite counter top were used to match the rest of the kitchen, and LED lights brighten the space the same way the undercabinet lights do. Rubber-bottomed dog bowls prevent any accidental spills, which are easy to clean up should they occur. Now the dogs have their own place to eat and drink, and the clients won’t be tripping over dog bowls in the floor!

Kitchen Solvers of ColumbusThis closed-in kitchen was transformed from a traditional outdated one to a modern, inviting, open and airy kitchen. We refaced the existing cabinets with a shaker bevel door in a Haze color for the upper cabinets and a Midnight color for the lower cabinets. We next installed a Cambria Quartz countertop in Portrush and a Motif II Sky Glass backsplash. By pairing the Midnight base cabinets with the lighter Haze color for the uppers along with the new countertop and a glass backsplash turned this kitchen into a stunning space. To complete the new look, a wall that was separating the kitchen and the dining room was replace with a half wall which opened up the space as well.
ALL Renovation & Design LLCThe Deistel’s had an ultimatum: either completely renovate their home exactly the way they wanted it and stay forever – or move.
Like most homes built in that era, the kitchen was semi-dysfunctional. The pantry and appliance placement were inconvenient. The layout of the rooms was not comfortable and did not fit their lifestyle.
Before making a decision about moving, they called Amos at ALL Renovation & Design to create a remodeling plan. Amos guided them through two basic questions: “What would their ideal home look like?” And then: “What would it take to make it happen?” To help with the first question, Amos brought in Ambience by Adair as the interior designer for the project.
Amos and Adair presented a design that, if acted upon, would transform their entire first floor into their dream space.
The plan included a completely new kitchen with an efficient layout. The style of the dining room would change to match the décor of antique family heirlooms which they hoped to finally enjoy. Elegant crown molding would give the office a face-lift. And to cut down cost, they would keep the existing hardwood floors.
Amos and Adair presented a clear picture of what it would take to transform the space into a comfortable, functional living area, within the Deistel’s reasonable budget. That way, they could make an informed decision about investing in their current property versus moving.
The Deistel’s decided to move ahead with the remodel.
The ALL Renovation & Design team got right to work.
Gutting the kitchen came first. Then came new painted maple cabinets with glazed cove panels, complemented by the new Arley Bliss Element glass tile backsplash. Armstrong Alterna Mesa engineered stone tiles transformed the kitchen floor.
The carpenters creatively painted and trimmed the wainscoting in the dining room to give a flat-panel appearance, matching the style of the heirloom furniture.
The end result is a beautiful living space, with a cohesive scheme, that is both restful and practical.
