The homeowners were tired with the look of their home and in need of creative help! With a Mansard style roof they thought there was no hope for creating an updated look and were just going to settle for a new front door and windows.
With a worn out picture they had saved for years of an arched style entry they loved, frankly at first glance just looked impossible to duplicate, we went to work!
Finishing touches include new copper roofs, custom made African mahogany entry door system and perfectly sized pendant light made the homeowners picture a reality!

Sticking to the classics. The Center Hall Colonial evolved primarily in colonial Maryland and Virginia beginning to appear about 1700, and became very popular. It partially developed as greater economic security transformed the reality of the American landscape, but it was also heavily influenced by its formal architectural relatives, the Palladian and Georgian styles with their emphasis on symmetry. This Center Hall Colonial constructed Franklin Lakes is no exception as it follows the historic precedence set by the colonial period and the folk form house. Sometimes if you want a house that evokes a sense of familiarity and simplicity of for, you got have stick to the basics.

One of Savannah's oldest surviving homes, this Colonial home on Warren Square has been preserved with care. This special property has been reinvented for a young, artistic family and is constantly evolving and changing with the homeowner's latest whims. With white walls and simple historic details, the home is a canvas that reflects the family within.
