Mon Concept HabitationNos clients ont fait l’acquisition de deux biens sur deux étages, et nous ont confié ce projet pour créer un seul cocon chaleureux pour toute la famille. ????
Dans l’appartement du bas situé au premier étage, le défi était de créer un espace de vie convivial avec beaucoup de rangements. Nous avons donc agrandi l’entrée sur le palier, créé un escalier avec de nombreux rangements intégrés et un claustra en bois sur mesure servant de garde-corps.
Pour prolonger l’espace familial à l’extérieur, une terrasse a également vu le jour. Le salon, entièrement ouvert, fait le lien entre cette terrasse et le reste du séjour. Ce dernier est composé d’un espace repas pouvant accueillir 8 personnes et d’une cuisine ouverte avec un grand plan de travail et de nombreux rangements.
A l’étage, on retrouve les chambres ainsi qu’une belle salle de bain que nos clients souhaitaient lumineuse et complète avec douche, baignoire et toilettes. ✨
AT OME DECOL'espace Salle à manger convivial et confortable marie le bois et le métal. Un pan de mur en papier peint jaune annonce le ton pour le séjour. Un choix de plateaux XXL éclectiques, placés au mur proposant un décor en relief fort. Leur formes permet de rompre avec les lignes graphiques et anguleuses en s'accordant avec les ouvertures existantes. Un jeu de miroirs reflète la lumière et illumine l'ensemble.

Jane Kim ArchitectA custom millwork piece in the living room was designed to house an entertainment center, work space, and mud room storage for this 1700 square foot loft in Tribeca. Reclaimed gray wood clads the storage and compliments the gray leather desk. Blackened Steel works with the gray material palette at the desk wall and entertainment area. An island with customization for the family dog completes the large, open kitchen. The floors were ebonized to emphasize the raw materials in the space.

Cummings Architecture + InteriorsOriginally planned as a family room addition with a separate pool cabana, we transformed this Newbury, MA project into a seamlessly integrated indoor/outdoor space perfect for enjoying both daily life and year-round entertaining. An open plan accommodates relaxed room-to-room flow while allowing each space to serve its specific function beautifully. The addition of a bar/card room provides a perfect transition space from the main house while generous and architecturally diverse windows along both sides of the addition provide lots of natural light and create a spacious atmosphere.

Powell ConstructionThe remodeled space of this North Albany home was only expanded a few feet but it made all the difference in creating a comfortable breakfast room. The white built-in buffet adds lots of room for serving and storage of plates and utensils. The round column that divides the dining room and kitchen hides the 8×8 post that supports the load bearing beams that run through the dining room and kitchen. Jenerik Images Photography
Tim Andersen ArchitectWe restored original dining room buffet, box beams and windows. Owners removed a lower ceiling to find original box beams above still in place. Buffet with beveled mirror survived, but not the leaded glass. New art glass panels were made by craftsman James McKeown. Sill of flanking windows was the right height for a plate rail, so there may have once been one. We added continuous rail with wainscot below. Since trim was already painted we used smooth sheets of MDF, and applied wood battens. Arch in bay window and enlarged opening into kitchen are new. Benjamin Moore (BM) colors are "Confederate Red" and "Atrium White." Light fixtures are antiques, and furniture reproductions. David Whelan photo
