RenovisionsRenovisions recently remodeled a first-floor bath for this South Shore couple. They needed a better solution to their existing, outdated fiberglass shower stall and had difficulty squatting to enter the shower. As bathroom designers, we realize that a neo-angle shower is a simple and minimalistic design option where space is a premium. The clipped corner creates an angled opening that allows easy access to the shower between other fixtures in the bathroom.
This new shower has a curb using a combination of glass and tile for the walls. Taking advantage of every possible inch for the shower made an enormous difference in comfort while showering. A traditional shower head along with a multi-function hand-held shower head and a shampoo niche both save space and provide a relaxing showering experience. The custom 3/8″ thick glass shower enclosure with mitered corners provides a clean and seamless appearance. The vanity’s bead-board design in sage green compliments the unique veining and hues in the quartz countertop.
Overall, the clients were ecstatic with their newly transformed bathroom and are eager to share it with friends and family. One friend in fact, exclaimed that the bathroom resembled one she had seen in a five star resort!

park21 designThis was a really fun project. We used soothing blues, grays and greens to transform this outdated bathroom. The shower was moved from the center of the bath and visible from the primary bedroom over to the side which was the preferred location of the client. We moved the tub as well.The stone for the countertop is natural and stunning and serves as a waterfall on either end of the floating cabinets as well as into the shower. We also used it for the shower seat as a waterfall into the shower from the tub and tub deck. The shower tile was subdued to allow the naturalstone be the star of the show. We were thoughtful with the placement of the knobs in the shower so that the client can turn the water on and off without getting wet in the process. The beautiful tones of the blues, grays, and greens reads modern without being cold.

Kowalske Kitchen & BathThe clients contacted us after purchasing their first home. The house had one full bath and it felt tight and cramped with a soffit and two awkward closets. They wanted to create a functional, yet luxurious, contemporary spa-like space. We redesigned the bathroom to include both a bathtub and walk-in shower, with a modern shower ledge and herringbone tiled walls. The space evokes a feeling of calm and relaxation, with white, gray and green accents. The integrated mirror, oversized backsplash, and green vanity complement the minimalistic design so effortlessly.

Cabinet-S-TopIn this master bathroom project, a fiberglass shower was removed and replaced with a more modern larger custom tiled shower with a frameless glass door. We were able to minimize clutter in this small space by adding custom drawers for storage while working around plumbing. An additional sink was added to make the room more functional. Lighted mirrors were utilized to simplify the design and eliminate the need for additional light fixtures, therefore removing visual clutter.
Sato Architects, Inc.The challenge of this project was to fulfill the clients' desire for a unique and modern second story addition that would blend harmoniously with the original 1930s bungalow. On the exterior, the addition appropriates the traditional materials of the existing home, while using contemporary proportions and lines to speak to a modern sensibility. Staggered massing and terraced roofs add to the visual interest and a harmonious balance in the design. On the interior, rich natural materials like oak and mahogany add warmth to the clean lines of the design. The design carefully frames stunning views of the reservoir and surrounding hills. In each room, multi-directional natural light, views and cross-ventilation increase the comfort and expansiveness of the spaces

123 Remodeling Inc.For the Master Bathroom, there was previously a large jacuzzi tub and small shower in the corner of the bathroom. We decided to remove the tub and instead create a larger shower and convert the existing shower into an open linen closet with custom wood shelving.
Further our client asked us for the color green in this bathroom. We then looked for a way to highlight the color green without being overpowering and still keeping it light. We went with a 3×12 jade green subway for an accent wall in the shower in a stacked pattern, keeping it contemporary. We also extended the shower niche from side to side to further emphasize this accent wall and to also give maximum storage inside the shower. We then highlighted and balanced out the jade green with a 12×24 marble porcelain tile running the opposite direction and extending outside the shower to give a grandeur and larger feel. We also made sure to wrap glass all the way around the shower and shower bench to open the space more. We also repeated the same shade of green in the vanity and used polished nickel plumbing fixtures and hardware throughout.
