SY: this light terrazo blends beautifully into the light carpet... we wouldn't have to go quite this light if that felt risky for the longevity of the carpet, but going light-ish and trying to match the carpet to the tile is a great idea to blend even across the change in materials. Also this wood and white in the kitchen is nice. The waterfall countertops help a lot to lighten up and tie the white countertops to the white/light floors - though are not inexpensive additions. JB: Again, love the wood and white, but the flooring is too light for me. Not interested in a waterfall countertop.
