The glass-enclosed wine cellar stands at the entrance to this magnificent condo overlooking the Mag. Mile. The cellar had to stand-out. The challenges included keeping the racking design simple, yet dramatic, and all the while maximizing storage. In addition, where could we place the heat from the wine cellar cooling unit? The cooling unit is a water-cooled unit tied directly into the building's 4-pipe cooling system, which is operating 24/7, 365 days per year because of the commercial accounts in the building. Having the expertise to to be able to converse intelligently with building engineers about refrigeration, sealed the deal.
