Carrie Ford's enthusiasm in interior, decorate and design started in 1968 with her first home as an adult. Actually, it was a large garage with a large hollow second story attachment. It soon became an admired home by family, friends and associates. With big ideas and little money Carrie quickly learned how to improvise using make shift furniture, paints, stains, discounted fabrics and enormous amount of elbow grease. Her friends started asking for her assistance in their decorating ideas and needs for their homes. From that point forward Carrie was captivated with the idea of obtaining knowledge about decorating and design. Carrie attended Miami-Dade College and several design school to acquire the knowledge and technique of hand-on-training. In 1975 she opened her first shop in Homestead Florida therefore empowering her to engage in the manufacturing of window treatments to complete interior design for her clients throughout Miami, Coral Gables, Miami Beach and the Keys. The old adage of "starting from the bottom" now makes sense to Carrie. She has found it to be gratifying and well as beneficial to start at the bottom, experiencing the process of manufacturing, enduring through trial and error and untimely achieving success in the decorating and design realm. Carrie has been servicing Florida with her unique ideas for design for forty years. Carrie's venture has expanded into a business that presents complete custom, interiors, staging and professional consultation in Daytona Beach and surrounding areas. Carrie's Interiors, LLC. welcomes all capacity of decorating/designing. We devote equal enthusiasm, time and effort whether it is one window design or a complete home interior.
