Alladio Sims Garden Landscape Design Ltd is a practice led by Jon & Bella, who are particularly keen on their collaborative approach to garden design. Working together means the client gets more – Jon's eye for detail, shapes and architectural rigour is combined with Bella's photographic eye and natural flair for using plants in layers to enhance and soften outdoor spaces. Jon and Bella are both very passionate and strive to help their clients realise their dreams, creating contemporary gardens with clean lines softened by a bold distinctive planting style. Jon & Bella’s work is unique – by combining complementing specialities into a single offering the client gets a more considerate and thoughtful solution. The pair of designers studied at the London College of Garden Design, then went on to practice individually. Eventually they started collaborating on projects and did a show garden for RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show together in 2015, shortly after they decided to join forces and set up a studio together. Jon and Bella created a beautiful and unique design for our small garden. The brief was met and exceeded my expectations. Options were given to fit our budget. Excellent liaison with the landscaper and great attention to detail. We now have a lovely space which we can now make much more use of and get lots of enjoyment from. Highly recommended.

Our project was brilliantly designed, planned, managed and executed. Jon and Bella were really mindful of what we wanted to achieve with our garden, from the initial briefing. We wanted to achieve 'lush', but in a northern European way rather than tropical - and got exactly that. The layout is planned so that there is some colour and interest all year. The hard landscaping was well designed, and went beyond what we thought could be achieved - even incorporating a bench into a raised bed. The firm appointed to do the construction of the hard landscaping was well-managed by Jon, and were great craftsmen. The planting plan was great - we opted to plant ourselves. The sizing if the plants meant that even when juvenile, the garden still looked good. Bella also gave us some useful tips about mulching after year 1, which was really helpful. Thanks Alladio Sims, this was money well spent, our garden is a joy.

Jon was with us from concept to completion with multiple requirements and tricky ground. Always flexible with design when ground works proved tricky and Bella did the most gorgeous planting design. 2 years later and still gorgeous

Jon and Bella were great to work with, they really listened to what I wanted to achieve and incorporated all my requirements as well as adding their own brilliantly creative design and planting vision. They were responsive, reliable and brought in a fantastic team of landscapers who were the hardest working, tidiest and friendly bunch of guys. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Jon and Bella were wonderful to work with. They came up with a beautiful design for our small garden, making the most of the sunny spots and putting storage in areas that make perfect sense. They brought both quirky creativity as well as practical advice and as a result we now have the most beautiful outside space that has transformed our house.

Careful to understand our brief, & made a design proposal that fully achieved our aims. Made suggestions that we would not have thought of, & listened to our own throughout for both hard landscaping & planting plan, including some plants that we had not heard of. Project managed installation of hard landscaping elements, plant supply & planting through to finished garden. Six months on, we have enjoyed seeing it settling in throughout the winter, & now we are impatient for the first season of full growth ahead. We love it!
