What makes Ana special is that she applies her aesthetic sense and technical skills to both the exterior and interior of a home to create a unified whole that represents the best of modern California design. The modern ranch house she designed for me has a clean, sophisticated look, is filled with light, has great sight lines, and uses beautiful materials. Importantly, it's not a museum, but a place that feels warm and meant for people to live in. Ana is also a pleasure to work with -- in addition to bringing positive energy and great listening skills, she approaches a project with a combination of creative genius and practicality. I made what turned out to be a very good decision to have her involved throughout the construction. Her guidance and detailed plans were extremely helpful and ensured that the finished product was true to what we had envisioned.

Ana Williamson and her team are simply remarkable. I am currently working on my fourth project with them. Each project has been exciting and innovative. Lots of attention paid to all the small details which are often forgotten, whether it be a window (and the view out of that window) or the way one room flows into another, everything is well thought out and feels very fresh. The designs are timeless. The whole process is not only fun and a collaboration but the end result is always stunning!

Ana Williamson and her staff frequently hire my company, Murray Engineers, for geotechnical services. We ALL love working for and with them. Fun but tough! And such a strong cyclist! And of course the contemporary Fowler Residence, which we both worked on, is one of my favorite architectural designs I've been involved with over my several decades in this business. We worked with Ana, Libby, Lauren and the AWA team through a complete home remodel, turning a 1920's bungalow into a modern, bright, open space while keeping its character intact. We retained them from early design through the construction completion. They were with us for detailed discussions with our contractor throughout. And we valued how practical they were in coming up with budget-friendly ideas and adjusting to realities in the field. All of them brought a positive attitude to all problem-solving.
