Beth Daecher's integrated approach to project management, sourcing and design make her a sought-after designer in the Bay Area for both small and large-scale commissions. With an engineering degree from Cornell University, Beth brings a unique understanding of architectural and reconstruction principles. Her collaborative nature allows her to tailor each project to her client's individual needs. Before founding bd home in 2008, Beth spent a decade in the corporate world as a director for high tech firms. She credits the experience with giving her unparalleled business savvy. "My background in the corporate world helps me run an efficient and successful business, while the creative and synergetic parts of design speak to my strengths and my passion." After renovating her family's Noe Valley residence, she found her passion for design. For her clients' projects, Beth tempers her creativity with practicality. She is particularly adept at designing kitchens and baths that are both aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. Hallmarks of bd home designs consists of a range from dazzling hues and unusual patterns to sleek, neutral minimalism. Whether designing a modern retreat or a traditional Edwardian, Beth creates layered, textured, and inviting interiors. When not working, the designer enjoys her own colorful San Francisco home, which she shares with her husband, two children, and two cats.

I've been working with Beth for 1.5 years now. She helped me through a major 8 month renovation of our Kitchen, Living Room, Bedroom, Master Bath and Children's bathroom. From architectural plans to final decor, she coordinated all the planning, design and work flow. She bring a unique set of skills and perspective that resulted in a beautiful, functional and comfortable space that our entire family loves and enjoys. She is highly technical, organized and has a tremendous sense of style. She's open minded and easy to work with.

I worked with Beth on a complete and total house remodel. My architect works with a lot of interior designers and says that Beth's work is one of the few interiors that he would like to include in his portfolio because it does justice to his design. Beth helped me select tiles, countertops, knobs, light fixtures, floor finishes, appliances and reviewed room layouts for this project. She is very flexible, and works with you, as opposed to dictating how she demands for you to work with her (as is the case with other designers). She'll advise, review your choices, source vendors, manage your project, and basically participate in any level of involvement you may need to complete your project. She has impeccable taste, keeps meticulous records, and is a pleasure to work with.

I have worked with Beth at bdhomesf for a few years now and she is just fantastic. She is a great listener and she really understands your personal style desires before she gives you suggestions. She has never led us astray, and quite the opposite, has delighted us with her great ideas and awesome creativity. My husband is THE PICKIEST because he is a graphic designer and he trusts Beth's taste. That's saying ALOT! One thing I really appreciate is how Beth is willing to work within our individual parameters. Currently, we have been buying furniture piece by piece (instead of doing an entire remodel/room at one time), which might annoy other designers, but Beth sees and articulates a vision for us and is patient with us on our *decor* journey. Recently, she had the absolutely brilliant idea to repurpose a piece of vintage furniture (very sentimental to us), giving it new life and making it relevant to our home's modern decor. No kidding ... I smile every day when I look at it. We plan to do a major remodel in the next year or two, and I will definitely be using bdhomesf to coordinate construction, finishes and interior design. Can't wait to work with you again, Beth!

We hired bd home design + interiors to design a number rooms in our new house and we could not be happier! Beth Daecher has a great eye for design and brings really interesting accents to each room that pull everything together beautifully. She created design concepts and chose furniture and accessories for our living room, family room, master bedroom and two children;s rooms. She is easy and fun to work with ad really helps to narrow down the sea of choices out there. Our house is comfortable but looks great. We get so many compliments! I would highly recommend bd home design + interiors!

Beth was fantastic t work with when we remodeled our kitchen. Making time to visit appliance and cabinet showrooms, she asked the practical questions and offered insight into not only what we wanted but needed in a kitchen redo. Beth designed a functional kitchen with a discerning eye to detail and focused on creating a workspace that both my husband and I could comfortably cook in together. Happy to say our kitchen is a gathering space when we entertain and has just enough room not to feel cramped but a perfect sense of practicality for two avid cooks. We loved working with bd home on this remodel!

BD Home did a complete master bathroom for us in a space where no bathroom existed. It was a small space but they succeeded in making it a luxurious "master bath" experience. During the process they identified improvements that we could make to our bedroom space too. This company has since helped us with decor changes in our house. I like the organized style that Beth brings to a project. I do not like to shop so she provides me with "on line" ways to look at things and she does the leg work when items need to be looked at. We are now planning our kitchen upgrade with Beth and her team and I can't wait! I know it will be done on time, with minimal disruption and look great!
