As a newcomer to Houston, I had a great need for expertise with my home, and reliable sources for various interior design projects I had. Beverly contacted me via the Houzz website and was eager to be helpful in a way that I appreciated so much. My first big project with her was to create drapes with my own special collection of fabrics for four rooms. The workmanship, coordination, and planning was excellent, made the process stress-free for us, and was in line with what one would expect to pay. The new drapes look stunning, and I can't wait for the remaining fabric to arrive for her team to do up the fifth room of drapes. My second project was to find a comfortable chair for our family room (I'm quite short and getting comfortable to work on my computer or watch TV for any length of time can be a challenge). She met us in the Decorative Center, having already prepared some pieces for me to inspect. We got an exceptional deal on an unusual recliner leaving enough money to upholster it in a gorgeous fabric. Beverly is efficient, respectful, and supremely qualified for a wide range of styles and techniques in interior design. Her experience includes many years of training in the UK, as well as her career here in Houston. We are looking forward to working with Beverly on many more projects in the near future. She has been a real Godsend for us!

It's a pleasure working with someone who has such passion and talent. Beverly created a unique bathroom design for my challenging floor plan. Beverly did an amazing job on our kids' bathroom remodel. Beverly and her team were prompt, courteous, and did wonderful work. She was a great listener and really brought a fresh, clean look to the space, which had not been updated since it was built in 1999. I absolutely love the blue tile and the white hexagon floor we chose, and she even ordered it from the airport! She would follow through immediately, no matter where she was, with ordering, price quotes, or the timing of someone arriving at our house. Beverly helped me pick paint colors for the walls and cabinet, and both choices turned out perfectly. She always wanted to be sure that I was ok with the choices and would never proceed until I was comfortable. I would definitely recommend her for your next remodel job!

We hired Beverly to remodel our kitchen, and we really love the end result. The subs Beverly used for the job were great - Bill, her cabinet guy, is amazing the cabinets look and function great, very high-end. Beverly knows how to get a project done quickly without sacrificing quality. She was a great help with the design aspect as well, and helped guide us in our selections of materials. Her subs are "on-call" and often can adjust their schedules if needed, which we appreciated. Beverly pushed hard for the project to be completed ASAP so that we could enjoy the new kitchen for the holidays.

I hired Beverly Vosko as my contractor after I spoke with her regarding my master bathroom project. It wasn't an ordinary remodel as there were numerous issues with a shower pan leak and old fixtures that were not in good working order. Beverly offered many great suggestions as to floor, countertop, and shower floor surfaces, Her advice regarding the choice of porcelain tile and polished nickel fixtures was spot on and the result is gorgeous (see the photos). Additionally, and oh so important for consumers, is her ability as a strong negotiator with subcontractors and building businesses. Beverly knows what is fair and what is not fair to the homeowner and she is willing to stand by you to accomplish your goal. This is a must during this crazy Covid world and all the supply and demand issues that we have to deal with. Her subcontractors are fabulous and easy to work with. Beverly does a wonderful job executing projects. I used her to remodel my bathroom and laundry room. Second time I used her and great again. We did have problems with getting products, but that is common now (late 2021) and Beverly worked diligently to get it resolved.

Beverly is a godsend for homeowners planning a major remodel. She brought our living room and dining area to life by coordinating the purchase of porcelain tile and shades. She has an eye for color and can visualize what the final room will look like. She can also recommend top artisans to lay tile as well as paint and repair sheetrock. We highly recommend her.

Beverly Vosko could rule the world! She and her team fixed the den in our $1 million+ home PERFECTLY after an unexpected plumbing leak caused water to come through our ceiling, ruining the ceiling and crown molding. While she has a background in interior design and is much more qualified and competent than to spend her time and efforts on our ceiling, that is exactly what she did! I had no idea who to call for the different aspects of the repair, i.e. wood for crown molding, paint matches for the ceiling, sheet rock repair...not to worry - After my initial call to her, I didn't lift another finger! Beverly had everyone for the jobs on text / speed dial! She was at my house during the entire repair overseeing her team. Everything was done, cleaned, and finished in 2 days! You would never know anything happened! She is in charge and on top of things! I have never seen anyone more prepared. She was also willing to work with us on pricing, as she knew this was a completely unexpected expense for us. She is kind, generous, and helpful. If you are looking for someone to help you with home design, repairs, interior updates, or remodel, call Beverly! You will be so glad you did!

I am giving Bev 5 stars and I am very happy with the way my house renovation turned out. Which is not to say we didn't have a few rogue sub-contractors along the way! We also added some work to the job, so the budget did go up, but we discussed it as we went along. I interviewed 2 other designers before picking Bev, and I think Bev is talented, she has lots of contacts and contractors, and she is very fast compared to other contractors. Overall I recommend her highly.

Beverly did a great job organizing two projects for me--my kitchen and my upstairs bathroom. The projects were completed very quickly and done well. At each step Beverly asked me to confirm that I was happy with the work. If not, Beverly promptly fixed it (this only happened once). Also Beverly has chosen to work with excellent craftsmen. She is very proud of her "subs" and with good reason.

Beverly handled an almost complete remodel of my home including knocking down walls and building new ones, and building a screened porch on the patio. The cost of the project was around $80K, not counting the pet proof floors. The engineering, structural, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and painting was done by Beverly's crew who were very pleasant and went out of their way to accommodate as we were living in the home. The kitchen was completely remodeled including new cabinets, a new pantry, quartz countertops a new sink and beautiful backsplash. Beverly was totally focused on our project and always available for questions or advice.

I worked with Beverly on the remodeling of our upstairs bathroom. She was very enthused and met with me right away. She was always available for questions and I appreciated her expertise in finalizing my decisions on all aspects of the remodeling. She was a joy to work with and very professional. I would highly recommend Beverly for any house project you may have.

When you spend six months working with a general contractor/interior designer, it is difficult to sum up your experience with them in a brief review...so mine is long! We had many conversations, some of which were arguments/disagreements, but we did develop a meaningful relationship. With that in mind, I gave Beverly five stars for the overall outcome, despite some constructive criticism you will read below. It all started when our house flooded from Hurricane Harvey in August of 2017, and we were in a hurry to remediate and re-model our home. Beverly was the first and only candidate that came up by means of her daughter, who is a personal friend of mine. What I liked about Beverly from the beginning was her empathy. Rather than seeing dollar signs, she realized our trauma and truly voiced her sadness for us. She gave us many hugs, and worked on coming up with a fair price that we could all feel comfortable with. In the end, we agreed on a flat rate design fee, half of which would be paid in the beginning and the other half at the end. On top of that, she would charge cost plus a percentage in commission on any work done through her subcontractors, and on any furniture purchased through her venues. Beverly did not take on more than two jobs at a time, something that is very rare for general contractors, especially at an opportune time such as post-hurricane, when many flood victims were in need of a contractor. She devoted her whole self to her clients, and spent nearly every waking moment working on the forward progress of her client's projects. We hired her in September 2017, and we were back in our house by March 2018 – exactly six months from start to finish. This is super fast in the world of remodeling, especially for an entire first floor of a house. The qualities I like most about Beverly are her excellent communication skills, her expediency, her determination, and her extensive knowledge and experience in the industry. For better or for worse, we received a barrage of phone calls, texts and emails from her. She made sure that every step of the way, we were aware of what was happening next and what role we needed to play in it. If I called or texted her, she was very quick to respond unless she was on vacation or teaching a class. When there was something I needed, she immediately called the contact needed to move forward and did not wait even a minute to relay the information (I believe she just didn't want to forget to do it!). As for her determination...I'm not sure I've ever met someone with so much chuztpah (that's Yiddush, that can best be translated to being a "firecracker"). Beverly knew how to get sh** done, and no one can argue with that. She doesn't necessarily care what people think of her if it means fighting to get exactly what her clients want. She knows what she needs to do to make things happen, and you gotta love her for everything that that entails. As for her skill set, I would rate her pretty high up there. She stays in-the-know on the latest trends and most popular materials. She knows more than enough contacts at any given store/company in the industry that are already programmed into her phone contacts. She was very helpful in giving me the information I needed and was very budget conscious, and fair with keeping me at my limit or under it. The best part about her advice, was that she really wanted me to be the one who ultimately made the choices. She wanted me to love what was selected, and she ended up being more of a guide on coordinating the things/style I gravitated towards. One of the things that we feel could be improved upon is Beverly working on talking less and listening more. Many times it became difficult to get a word in as she would talk a mile per minute and not come up for air! If I needed to say something or refute what she was saying, I often had to raise my voice and talk over her to get her to listen to me. As time went on, this calmed down a little and texting became the main form of communication so I could make sure she knew my thoughts. At times, Beverly came off as pushy, even though she didn't intend to be that way. She wanted us to get back in our house ASAP, and for that reason, we had to make decisions quickly. Sometimes it felt as if she was "jumping the gun," or just didn't let us meditate too long on a major choice/investment. In the end, she remained patient, but it wasn't her nature. As expected in this industry, things come up, things go wrong, dilemmas are bound to happen. When it came time to placing the blame and moving forward, she would deny anything being her fault or within her control. The phrase "the customer is always right" needs to be remembered in times like this, and sometimes you need to take responsibility for some of the actions taken by your subcontractors. This is where we got into some pretty heated arguments, however, that is part of this kind of relationship and she did propose reasonable compromises on every issue. Since I have never done a remodel/renovation, I was unaware of some of the common work practices of designers. However, I was told by several different people from different stores/venues that Beverly should have made some preliminary drawings of how the general outcome would look of our first floor of our house. When I questioned her about it, she claimed she didn't need to do that when we had no idea what we wanted. She needed to know our budget (which we couldn't know until we had more information from our insurance) before she could sketch anything out. The only thing she drew was a rough draft of our kitchen so we could work with the cabinet maker on how exactly he was going to set up the kitchen space. There were also a decent amount of squabbles between Beverly and her subcontractors. I believe this happens often in the industry, but I believe some of the disagreements and unfortunate results could have been handled in a less reactive manner. Lastly, Beverly took several vacations during our time working together. It was very contradictory to how hard she worked in general, which is very hard! She at least kept the lines of communication open with us even when she was away (for the most part). All of that said, we love our re-model. We love what we have chosen, thanks to her guidance and contacts and venues. We became friends with Beverly, and I really do miss talking to her! A few issues have come up with some of our new products that have been installed, and she immediately came to the rescue and has remedied the problems with her usual expediency! It is hard to find someone like Beverly, and I feel like we got lucky finding her to help us during such a trying time in our lives.

My kitchen project began as a simple upgrade to countertops. However, Beverly described to me in most illustrative words how we could make my 25 year old kitchen truly modern. She is very adept at drawing out what the customer really is seeking but might have difficulty articulating. My new kitchen has custom cabinets, recessed lighting, beautiful counter tops and back splash, and stainless steel appliances throughout. As well, and very important to me, are her project management skills. Six contractors were involved, with many tasks being inter-dependent, which made for a complicated schedule. But, Beverly delivered this kitchen upgrade on time and within budget. Her professional standards are very high and she expects that and gets that from the team of contractors she routinely uses. My daughters have raved about my new kitchen, as have my friends. I am extremely pleased with what Beverly Vosko Interiors has done for my home! .

Beverly Vosko has worked with me on several projects in my home. We hired a general contractor to renovate most of my house, and Beverly has helped me decide on fabrics, paint colors, hardware, light fixtures, drapes and all the other details that make a house into a home. Our personal tastes are quite different, and what I most like about Beverly, is that she always helps me work to the best of my ablilty within my own comfort zone. I like color, and my house is full of color, but thanks to Beverly, it all harmonizes beautifully. My husband insists on natural fabrics in our upholstery, and Beverly helped me find bamboo based fabrics that were durable, good looking, appealed to the touch, and were not too outrageously priced. Beverly is a Sotheby trained expert on antiques, but works comfortably with my own more eclectic and contemporary choices. She works very hard, and is an excellent interior designer. I think she could help anyone do any type of project to his or her house, and do it beautifully.

It's not just about the awards she has won and her many certifications, but it's also about her tenacity and the search for the perfect solution. Beverly stepped in to help me during an emergency flooding situation. A week after our house flooded, more than a dozen out of town relatives were arriving for a very special family event. Half of my house had to be torn apart and put together again and all the carpeting replaced in less than a week. Beverly made it all happen, with time to spare.

We had a very difficult room to furnish, with odd proportions. Out taste is contemporary, but the house was built in 1923. Beverly was amazing! She quickly solved all our design dilemmas and created a space that we truly love. She is a true talent; able to listen to what clients want, and come up with design that goes beyond expectation.
