Brian came and measured four bedrooms in my home. He was poliet and very professioanl. His team showed up on time and left my house cleaner than when they had arrived. Not only was the work superb, he also helped my son put together his new lacrosee net. Four bedrooms all sanded and finished for under $1800.00. I would recommend him and his team to anyone of my friends and family.

What a team! I had a home gym put in my basement and Brian and his team came in and did a super job. Brian was polite and knowledgeable, his men were professional and even helped us move a trampoline to the other side of the property. The job came out amazing!

We had several issues with BFC and ended up firing them after giving them several chances. They started off great but the work rapidly declined in speed and quality. If you hire them make sure to verify they have valid liability insurance - they didn't at the time of our job in April/May 2022. 1. The quote/invoice given was off by 30-40%, they asked for another 3k after final payment was made without providing an updated invoice. 2. The work was supposed to be done in two week, took two months. 3. They put nails through a copper heating pipe and flooded part of an upstairs room and the room under it. When asked for insurance information, they did not provide it and turns out they didn't have liability insurance - even though their listing on this site and their businesses cards say "fully insured". They fixed the flooring but it doesn't fix the thousands of dollars in water damages that resulted from the water leak. At first they said their insurance guy was out of the country, then the story shifted to a sub-contractor they fired a week or so earlier was their partner and was responsible for their insurance but had somehow cut them out of it - none of story was consistent or logical. 4. They attempted to do baseboards in one of the rooms upstairs and it came out really rough, we ripped them out and had a someone else redo them. They blamed the rough work on not feeling well - turns out they had covid and worked in our house for two days saying they were just dehydrated and had allergies. 5. They didn't pay the company that did the finishing on the floors and we ended up hiring them to finish the job. 6. There are photos on this page (the Duxbury listing) of work they did not do. They took photos of our existing pine floors that were unrelated to the work they did here and are seemingly trying to pass it off as their own. I'm sure they'll have some soft of excuse/justification to this message, but take it with a grain of salt. We're currently pursuing them in small claims court for the damages that their liability insurance should have covered.

Very nice man. Said what he said he and his team were going to accomplish, and gave me reliable and honest updates throughout th entire job. I had 6,000.00 square feet of 2.25 red oak installed, along with three coats of polyurethane. The team he has working for him were complete gentleman and Brian himself was at my home every morning and every afternoon. I couldn’t be happier and recommend Brian and he’s team to anyone looking to get tile, hardwood, carpet, even custom tables done. I couldn’t be happier.

I can't say enough good things about the work Brian and his crew have done for me. I've contracted him for residential work at my mother's house where he sanded and refinished her white oak floors, as well as installing new tile in her bathroom, and carpeting on her second floor - she couldn't have been happier. At my own home, when I finished my basement, he installed solid hickory over an existing subfloor and it looks outstanding. Commercially speaking, I have recently used him on several tile jobs in restaurant bathrooms where he greatly enhanced the existing aesthetic appeal (or lack thereof). Brian is knowledgeable, punctual, and professional - the fat that he always shows up with a coffee for me certainly helps too. I would refer friends, family, and professional contacts to Bostonian Floor Creations with the utmost confidence - keep up the good work fellas!

He took our deposit, didn't show up or contact us to say he wasn't coming on the date of the installation and after agreeing to return our deposit never did. Although the check we wrote him was to to "Bostonian Floor Creations", he endorsed it with his name and cashed it at a check cashing place. Our mistake was not vetting him.

Brian is a great person and a professional. He is now my go to man for carpet, tile, and wood thank you Bostonian!

My siblings and I recently discussed wanting to help my parents out by getting their floors redone in the next couple months. They got them done years and years ago but six kids and several pets later and they are not in the best shape. I wasnt sure about who to contact, how much it should cost, how much time, etc. I contacted Brian Simmons at Bostonian Floor Creations from seeing his business on facebook since a few of my friends had liked his page. After talking to him, knew that I was going to get the best and exactly what we wanted without having drain our bank accounts. He listened to my situation, gave me advice, and I felt that he didn't want to try to scam me in anyway, but actually cared and wanted to help. It is hard to find someone who is passionate about what they do and more passionate about their customer service, and im glad I found him! Looking forward to working with him in the near future!

We called Brian in a pinch to get 1400sq/ft ripped up and floored in 3 days time. We couldnt have been happier with the outcome. Brian was able to get on the job the very next day and the floors came out unbelievable. I will be using BFC a lot more on our upcoming flips and new construction. Thanks BFC!!!!

Brian helped us out on a project on Neponset Street in Boston. He was able to rip up/install 1400 square feet on short notice in a couple days and the floors look amazing. Needless to say he will be getting a lot more of our contracts for our upcoming projects!
