We called in Alan because we wanted a bespoke 5 door fitted wardrobe made of oak. Alan talked us through what he thought were the best options. He invited us to visit his workshop to see first hand the types of woods and finishes he offered. He was very attentive to wife's (who knows what she wants) questions and we soon agreed on how we wanted the job done. Even while he was doing the job he consulted us on any small options that were still available and offered good advice to help us choose the one best suited to us.. The quality of his work was first class, for example taking tremendous effort to match up grains on the corresponding panels and frames. It is true he cost more than big company would charge to fit factory made veneered MDF cupboard. What he made was a bespoke cupboard in solid oak which was still considerably cheaper than the big companies charge for an up market mass produced product. While I think he provides good value, I don't think this is the main reason I would recommend Alan, far more important is his ability to, listen to his client's needs, make clear well explained professional suggestions, provide top quality materials, excellent craftsmanship and his natural habit of paying attention to detail.

Alan Cooper of Bucks Bedrooms was recommended to me by a friend, who obviously rated his work highly. I am so pleased they did, as my wife and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. Alan's attention to detail and the exacting standards he works to, have produced a truly outstanding result and at a cost that won't break the bank! His designs have transformed the space available and turned a very mediocre room , into one that is a pleasure to spend time in. I will be using Alan again for our next project and would recommend him without hesitation.
