I am passionate about lighting and love to combine specialist lighting design with interior design to maximize the potential of both. I like to combine architectural lighting, which is practical and does the hard work, with beautiful decorative lights that add the wow factor. Caroline worked with us to bring to life the plans for the model of our house. She took time to understand the look and feel we were aiming for across the house. I’d summarise that Caroline was easy to work with, responsive (even while away on holiday) and helped us enormously. She created the initial design and layout of the kitchen and utility room, selected suitable tiles, vanity units, bathroom furniture and gave fantastic and balanced advise throughout. Wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.

We engaged Caroline to design our kids playroom/library. Caroline understood our exact requirement.She was very patient and open to any changes in our ideas and presented various different options to suit the kids room . We chose to install a custom play deck which also housed the kids books . The final completed implementation is something we really like and is a great room for the kids. Caroline is a pleasure to work with and her creative designs and work ethic are highly commendable.

It was such a pleasure working with Caroline, we brought her onto our project to give us some well needed advice and actually I would say courage at times to make some extremely hard decisions; who new choosing paint colour or tiles could be so challenging!! Caroline was extremely patient and took time to understand the look and feel we were wanting to achieve at the end of our renovation project. She has impeccable taste, and introduced us to a number of amazing craftsmen and companies to help source exactly what we were after, especially as much of what we needed had to be handcrafted, but at the same time not on a huge budget. If you're looking for an interior designers who feels like you're working with your best friend, and does not impose her thoughts but gently guides you along, then we can not recommend Caroline more highly.

We found Caroline via her website, initially impressed by photos of past projects. On meeting her we were even more impressed by her professionalism, and obvious skill at what she does. We were total rookies to house renovation and Caroline literally took us by the hand and guided us through the ups and downs. She left us over 18 months later with a wonderful house renovation. She also brought in recommended contacts to do the project, as we knew no builders/kitchen fitters. Thank you Caroline!

Old Farm is a medieval Somerset farmhouse dating back to 1345. Our family bought it in 2006 as a complete wreck needing total renovation. Some six years later the renovation works were, in the main, completed but what hadn’t been achieved was making it into a family home. Caroline was first asked to look at it in 2014. The very first thing she said was “why are all these pictures on the wall.. take them off and only put back the ones you really like” and the second was “what is this room for?” and she then started the process to help us define all the rooms. The result is that we now have a family home that everybody loves. Caroline’s work is not just about design, choosing the right colours and soft furnishings ect, she helps her clients define what they want from their home and then delivers it through design and colour. Put simply, if you want to turn your house into a home then you should talk to Caroline.”

A commenté : Love the counter top! Is it glass?Thank you, glad you like it! You're right, it's toughened glass which has been back-painted white to bring out the natural colour of the glass. Surprising durable and heat-resistant too.
