Tom did a wonderful and skilled job in re-designing the flow in our kitchen / living room / den by removing walls and engineering new ceiling headers to create an open floor plan. Our dated 1970 era ranch house in West County has been transformed to a beautiful home. All of the sub contractors were also skilled, thoughtful and on time.

Carreiro Builders (Tom) did a fantastic job on managing construction of our new home in Santa Rosa. We started with an empty lot in the hills and a preliminary design from the architect. From there Tom and his team cheerfully worked through many issues to address needs for cost reduction as well as dealing with conflicting subcontractor schedules and unexpected findings once construction began. Believe me; there are a ton of uh-ohs that come up along the way when you are starting from scratch. Giant rock in the way of your foundation? No problem; we'll just drill a horizontal hole and run the foundation rebar right through it. Windows supplier delivers the wrong windows? Get on the phone again and again until the correct windows are promised, and delivered. All along, Tom was friendly, responsive, and 100% professional. We are incredibly satisfied with the end result: a contemporary home that stands out in the crowd of other homes in the area. It was a tough 2-year process, and we happily depended on Carreiro Builders throughout.

Carreiro Builders is a one of my top go to GC's. They are honest, organized, resourceful, skillful and friendly. Great team players that keep in communication open and don't drop the ball.
