Cathryn Anne Design

To share a little bit about myself, I was born in Utah but grew up in Seoul, South Korea. Living in a design oriented capital of almost 20 million people, I experienced firsthand how design enhances daily lives, facilitates the creation of special memories, and contributes to the health and safety of society as a whole. The world is full of remarkable people, all with their own stories to tell, and it is through design that I have been able to help share in their unique storytelling. As an Interior Designer I have been able to be involved in a variety of different projects. Currently I am the lead Interior Designer and Project Manager at Scholz Architects in Provo. Our firm specializes in multi-family housing, and commercial, office, and other corporate projects. We have expanded our work to include recreational sports facilities, indoor arenas, and custom homes. I have had the great opportunity to be a project manager and contributor for all of these different projects and have enjoyed each for their different scopes and design parameters. One of my greatest strengths is that I am able to fill a role as it arises. My areas of expertise include: -Project Management (Planning, Programming for Tenant Improvements & New Construction) -Architectural Drawings (AutoCAD proficient) -Interior Specifications (FF&E) and Exterior Architectural Finishes -Space Planning, Design Development, and Code Analysis -Custom Design (Furnishings, Textiles, & Tile) -Kitchen/Bath Design (Residential/Commercial, ADA, NKBA) -Fostering of Positive Client Relationships (Contracts, Budgeting, Client Involvement) -Presentation Boards (Creates beautiful displays of project samples & renderings) -Graphics (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign proficient) In my mind, nothing is more fulfilling than being part of design built on timeless principles, being functional and beautiful in the creation of powerful design, having the satisfaction that the human condition has been improved and inspired.
