C&R Property & Construction Ltd

For many years we have used CR property and construction Ltd, for all of our building and renovation work, from a new kitchen, new bedrooms, fitted wardrobes, wooden flooring, new porch, are amongst some of the work too numerous to mention. From the start of the work the client is listened to, and taken through the process step by step (e.g., date of start, materials needed, costs) they also use their expert guidance to assist their client, with no pressure whatsoever on the client. Having a new kitchen fitted from scratch can be a very daunting and stressful time but we can honestly say that was not what we experienced. We were informed constantly of the progress and different stages of the work being undertaken, we were never left without water, Chris made sure of that, this is just an example of the professionalism of C&R property. Chris, Rachel, and the team are a very conscientious, professional and hard working company, honest, reliable, punctual and committed, who take pride in their work which is rare to find these days, Chris’ eye for detail is exceptional. We would never use any other company other than C&R property and would recommend to anybody, you would not be disappointed. A very big thank you once again to Chris, Rachel, Harry and Brandon. You should all be very proud of yourselves and deserve all the praise you receive from your clients.

Chris & Rachel have been beyond amazing... I couldn't have picked a more difficult time to renovate an apartment in Didsbury/Manchester. Starting the project in Jan and completing August, as a team (and i say that because that's exactly what it felt like) we had to deal with delays with supplies, COVID isolation, illness, and much more. However throughout, communication was excellent and we dealt with each situation with humour and clear next steps. This was my first project, after returning to Manchester/ and single again (enough said) i took on the apartment knowing i wanted to really go for it. Chris not only supported some crazy ideas, he also told me to wind my neck in if they were getting out of hand. The team also included Harry & Tom, a new apprentice all highly skilled, great people, respectful and super tidy. Letting me ask questions, I've learnt such a lot. The Contractors, Chris brings in have so much respect for him and his standards are high .. a few things were not to his satisfaction (i was okay with them) but Chris had to rectify as he just couldn't leave something if not right. Even when i had one room to live in, Chris made sure i was always comfortable - had access to utilities to make the really dusty and dirty stage as easy as possible. Payment for the work was paid throughout, at a steady rate which was great for managing budget. I had so much fun doing this... and actually missed them when they had to jump on another job. Yes the project took longer than expected but at no fault of Chris and team... in his words 'It is what it is'. I now have this phrase on my shelves to remind me of Chris and team, now i have new friends and will be going out for a drink with them - if they'll have me! Really bad experience, although Rachel was really easy to reach at first, I ended up very much disappointed. The job was cancelled two weeks prior commencement which I have found out only upon reaching out to Rachel. The job was first put back due to the other, 'bigger' job, read worth more money overlapped and then suddenly another big job has been moved forward (that is quite unusual in itself). 6 months waiting time, paying for moving things from all the bedrooms to storage I got cancellation email. The work that meant to be carried out was priced at around £8k - partial refurbishment of 3 bedrooms plus minor work in bathroom and hallway.

Total re-install of a bathroom. Extremely professional, came on time, and done a 1st class job. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the company, or the staff. So many thanks to Chris and Daz, and my son for the recommendation. Steve from Blackley

We instructed Chris and his team to fully refurbish our kitchen/dining area. They did an excellent job from start to finish, quality workmanship, very professional and very clean and tidy, cannot recommend them highly enough!

The job was to install a glass roof over a outside courtyard area and move a downstairs bathroom according to architect plans in a period property. From day one Chris has been totally professional and easy to work with, keeping us well informed from the start. Working closely with our architect and us through out, he has made a challenging job much easier. Chris and his team have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and problem solving skills, essential in older properties, (in our experience no job is ever straight forward), this set him and his team apart. We are very pleased with the finished project. We can't rate Chris and his team highly enough.

Had my bathroom refitted with a new 3 piece suite. We didnt know what state the of the room would be in until the panelling came down. It were a mess. They managed to fit the bath in the way i wanted it.. Daz & Sam had done a great job, from a misserable walk in shower room to a beautiful modern bathroom
