Deb followed her passion for interiors by obtaining her bachelor’s degree in interior design, 1993 and her CIDQ certification in 1998. Following graduation she worked in several design settings in Rochester, NY and Fort Myers FL including Sanibel Island, Captiva and Boca Grande until she returned to the Rochester area and started her own company in 2006. Since then, she continues to serve the greater Rochester area and Finger Lakes Region. Her design work is diverse including an office redesign for Environmental Design Research, a farmhouse renovation in Genesee County, on going updates of a historic home in the South Wedge, a Canandaigua new build, a total home renovation in Pittsford, as well as several kitchen and bath renovations, to name a few. Currently she is working on a Seneca Lake house, and a new build in Pittsford. Her work has taken her to Dorset, Vermont to work on a seasonal home for a former client. Previously her work has been featured in local publications, 585 magazine, and Our Home in the Finger Lakes. One of her recent projects will be featured in an upcoming publication. In addition to her business, Deb teaches design at the local community college, MCC, where she enjoys sharing her passion for design with her students. With over 20 years of design experience, Deborah creates spaces that speak to your needs and reflect your lifestyle. Design services are tailored to your needs. Deb guided me through a 6 month kitchen renovation and garage/loft addition. I met with Deb every other week but she was always available ( usually within minutes) through text and e mail when unexpected changes or needs came up. Her skills with room layout, paint colors and general vision to incorporate my thoughts with practicality were outstanding! Deb is experienced, professional and overall a very kind person! I will miss our regular communications!

This was our first experience working with an interior designer, and we thought Deborah was great. She took time to learn what we wanted and then made suggestions that worked with our needs/desires. She helped us with colors, paint finishes, flooring and accessories, and we love the finished product - the rooms are updated and nice, but they still reflect our personalities. We would use her again for future projects.

Deborah was very flexible in working with my schedule and my timetable for the project. We took a day to shop together and she was always helpful and inspiring with ideas but never pushy. I appreciate her knowledge in all things design from paint colors to furniture to finishing touches on the wall. Debbie is great to work with. She has magical eyes and can transform anything! She helped me pick paint colors that I struggled for months on. And just the arrangement of furniture (that I had like that for 8+ years)....opened the room up and made it inviting.

We contacted Deborah to help with the plethora of decisions that we needed to make with our kitchen, bathroom, living room, and dining room renovation. Even though we had a kitchen company doing the work, and they had made the design. We had her take a look at it. She made great suggestions to their plan and we had them include them in their design. She turned us onto a great floor company, and she helped with selections. She made a suggestion about painting our stairs railings to our upstairs, something we had not really thought of. It really has made a difference. Found her to be accommodating in scheduling appointments, and she was great about getting back to us. Even though we were doing the majority of the work ourselves, she checked in to see how we were progressing. We are going to have her help us with placement of furniture, plus rug, curtain, and picture decisions. We haven't even got this project done yet, but are already talking about having her come in to look at our family room. You will not be disappointed if you have Deborah Roides Interior Design come into your home.

My husband and I were delighted to work with Deb Roides. We took on the task of renovating our kitchen, living room, dining room, front hall and bathroom, all at once. I felt SO overwhelmed and didn't know where to begin. We had so many decisions to make (at one time) and she helped to prioritize and address each one at the time a decision was necessary to move forward in our project. Deb kept our budget under consideration with every suggestion she made. She was readily available by phone, text or to stop over to tackle the next phase of the renovations. I am a remodeling contractor who worked with Deb on 3 bathroom remodels. Her designs turned out really well and the client was very happy with the final results! From a contractors point of view having all of the design work done by a professional: fixtures selected, floor tile, wall tile, paint colors, lighting selected, etc. made the project flow very smoothly. Deb also worked very closely with her client to make sure they got what they wanted and the that the bathrooms turned out beautifully! I would highly recommend Deborah Roides to any of my clients.

A commenté : Where do you find out about the latest decorating colors/trends?brands like Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams. I do also use catalogs like Pottery Barn. They put out a Sherwin Williams color palette for the season.
