My experience with Debby was excellent! She was professional, flexible, patient and committed. I met with her and started the planning, but then it took me a year to finish the project because I was so slow at clearing out that room! She stayed focused and professional in her follow-up with me, had wonderful and creative ideas, and the whole family is thrilled with the final product! She transformed a lifeless office/workout/catch-all room into a beautiful cozy hangout space for my teens! I loved the way she used Pinterest to share/track ideas. The three photos are after and the last one is the "before" shot. SO HAPPY!!!

I loved working with Debby from Creative Spaces Interior Design and would hire her again in a heartbeat. I initially hired her to help us with a house remodel but which turned into a brand new home. She got our style and taste and helped us navigate through the plethora of choices out there. It so happened that my style was similar to hers which made it an even more pleasurable experience and while a great interior designer can work with many styles, the chemistry is best when your styles are in sync. She is responsive, readily shares her knowledge and knows when to pull back and when to roll with it. In addition to all that she’s just a genuinely kind, generous and loving human being.

Debby was awesome! She worked with us to keep the original architectural features of our bathroom while giving it a modern update. She was a joy to work with, full of good ideas and gave us a beautiful result.

Debby was great to work with! She spent her time at our house, really understood our needs at her first visit. We needed her design expertise for our kitchen and master remodel, we had a funky space, and wanted to understand what we could do with it that would be cost effective, but also look good, and to include what we wanted (island, big closet, etc.). She understood our needs, and provided us with designs that really worked with our area, and gave us pointers on things we wouldn't have thought of if we just designed ourselves. Debby is also really awesome, funny, and has a wholesome genuine personality that is easy to work with! Thanks for all your help!!

Debby walked through our house pointing out simple ideas for some dramatic results. She was friendly and casual, and yet she listened carefully and gave us some great pointers all within the space of an hour. We're now implementing almost all of the ideas she gave us, and we're very pleased with the results so far.

We hired CSID for our whole house renovation. This project is massive and we needed a lot of help not only with design but also communicating with our contractor. Debby helped us with everything. She understood our needs, our style, our budget and was always available for calls, visits and via text and email. She is up front and doesn't beat around the bush - which is exactly what we needed. I also love that we constantly compared ideas on Pinterest and kept track of everything we wanted design-wise. You will enjoy working with Debby - both professionally and on a personal level.

We hired Debby through Thumbtack and had her work with us and our contractor on a total home remodel and addition. It was a 6 month + effort. Debby had some great ideas and understood our vision. The final outcome was great as you can see by the photos ( labeled on her website as "Traditional with Asian & Eclectic Influences")! We love our space and the input, ideas and direction that we received by Debby exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, we learned some life lessons about lighting design and outlet location that were very costly lessons, but which we own for taking our eye off the ball. We consider this lessons learned for future remodels but encourage others to carefully scrutinize lighting & switch locations to save literally thousands of unnecessary dollars spent. Our biggest disappointment had to do with the one sub that Debby referred us to who left us high and dry in the midst of our backyard remodel but not sure how much control she had of this piece and their actions. They did a great job on wallpaper and on their initial outdoor design but then disappeared when we wanted to finish the job. Overall we found her to be creative, pleasant to work with, innovative, willing to go above and beyond and would recommend her as a great creative partner.

I enlisted Debby's expertise on a remodel of my 3 bedroom home and couldn't be happier that I did. Debby provided room by room drawings and a Pinterest board with items to purchase. Originally, I wasn't sure what overall look I was going for but Debby explained different styles of design to me, provided examples and worked with me to mix and match based on my preferences. She then worked closely with me to find items that fit my aesthetic and minimal budget. I was able to reach out to her with any questions via text and email and she responded quickly. I also appreciated the constant communication about likes and dislikes on the Pinterest board; it was a two-way street where I could post things I had or liked and Debby would let me how to incorporate it and she would post and I could comment then the plan would be updated accordingly. The final drawings were done in a week and Debby was sure to include the large pieces that I already own so I was spending the least amount on big purchases. Her suggestions about how to move furniture and get the most use out of my small space was invaluable! I appreciated her attention to detail and I really felt that she knew exactly what I was looking for before I even did! Overall, It was such an enjoyable process and I am so glad that I went with Debby!

Debby is fantastic! She provided us guidance and direction for our extremely low-budget project--just trying to make our apartment look more put together! She is friendly, knowledgable, and creative, and I was so happy to have her help.

I am a General Contractor that has worked with many interior designers and Debby is extremely easy and very professional to work with. She has a great eye for details and makes timely decisions in order to keep the job moving forward. We have only had the opportunity to work with her on one job in Redondo Beach, CA but we look forward to working with her in the near future. Excellent attention to detail, super responsive, extremely reliable. It's a pleasure every time we do any work together. Great eye for design and goes above and beyond every step of the way. Have done multiple projects together and would love to keep her all to myself. Worked with Debby for another project- this time to redo the master bathroom. Debby was a great resource during the remodel (nice having her as a liaison between me and the contractor)- and with a keen eye for design. Highly recommend!
