Design and Build landscape

Just had Lance and Rob re do our front and side yard! I was over the moon with the finished product! Both my husband and I wish we would have done this sooner! Lance was not the cheapest estimate but it was very obvious from our estimate that he had vision and we were not disappointed! The whole company was awesome ! Highly recommend!

Lance and Robert have exceeded all our expectations! They have transformed our yard into a Hamptons style paradise. Not only are they professional, dedicated and talented, but they are extremely kind and patient and took their time to answer all our questions throughout the project. After seeing their work here on Houzz and on their website, we decided to have Design and Build do our back patio. We were looking for something a little more modern than what is typically seen here on Long Island. Lance came up with a great design and was a true professional during the whole process. His work was completed in timely manner, and we were extremely happy with the outcome. He definitely achieved the simple/modern design we were going for. Would recommend Lance and his team in a heartbeat, and we will use him again when we do some work in our front yard.

Design and Build reconstructed the entire front of my house from the driveway, entranceway and landscaping. The entire project was professionally designed and implemented. I was on a strict timeline and the project was completed as promised from the start. I was extremely impressed with the interraction of the owners and workers on a daily basis to ensure that each day would be as productive as possible. The project was finished on time and budget and everyone had gone over and above to complete an extraordinary job.

Lance and Rob from Design and Build were the best contractors that I dealt with in my complete rebuild of house and property after Hurricane Sandy. They provided great designs up front, worked with me to come up with a final design and then made my entire front and back yard landscaping as beautiful as promised. They addressed every concern that I had before the job was started, showed up when they said they would and put the ultimate final touches on making my property beautiful again. The plants, trees and lawn that they planted and the patio and fire pit that they designed are absolutely beautiful. I've received many compliments from friends and family on the new look. I will be using Design and Build again to replace my front porch. I am anxious to see the stone work designs that they will propose, knowing that they will be as great as the work that they have already done for me.

The outcome of my house was gorgeous from front to back!! The design really stood out in my neighborhood, extremely professional and clean cut but just a little twist to stand out. I was impressed with their website, so I got an estimate for replacing our tired landscape that has been in place since the late 70's. Lance came over to talk about our needs and our likes and dislikes. He then emailed a proposal including a computerized drawing of what we could expect. The results are spectacular. The crew was very responsive to my input as they laid out the new plants. They even did some extra work that I requested that day at no additional charge. I am very happy with their work and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

My yard is amazing!! Hired Design and Build to completely redo my yard - front and back...and I mean completely redo - lawn, plantings, hardscapes, fencing, retaining walls, sprinkler system... Lance, Robert and team did an amazing job. The team worked all day in a very professional manner and cleaned up every night before taking off for the evening. And best of all - they were on schedule and on budget I highly recommend them and would hire them again for any outdoor work

My wife and I hired Lance from Design and Build from the internet. After listening to our requests and needs he presented us with a detailed layout of our property that closely resembled our vision. We worked together to achieve that and he answered all of our questions about the plants, trees and bushes we wanted and where to plant them. He removed two big pine trees, installed a sprinkler system, planted new sod and lined our property with new shrubs and plants. He was there with his crew from start to finish and made changes as we requested them. Him and his staff were courteous and professional and finished the job on time. His prices were very reasonable and we know this because we had multiple estimates before we hired him. His customer service is top notch. He answers all calls and if I don't reach him he returns my calls promptly. He still services my sprinkler twice a year. I have recommended him to other people who were just as satisfied as we were. My brother-in-law would be the latest to hire him. We highly recommend Lance from Design and Build and give him our highest marks for a very pleasurable experience which is so rare.

Design and Landscape did a great landscaping job to my front yards. I have a corner house and they have totally changed the messy appearance to a very impressive look. They have great design ideas, now my front has a curve appeal. They were extremely fast, worked with us on issues and were excellent communicators when we had concerns. Their work is very neat and they know what they are doing. I am really pleased how they have done all these with a very short period of notice. Thanks to their team.
