For over 33 years, Davida Rodriguez, Certified Kitchen Designer, has been creating beautiful kitchens, baths, and tile designs in the Washington DC Metro Area for both commercial and residential clients, and will personally oversee your project from beginning to end. A native of the Washington DC area, and an Interior Design graduate from the University of Maryland, she spent 10 years in the designer kitchen industry providing custom cabinetry before adding an additional 10 years of stone, ceramic and other custom tile work to her repertoire. In 1995, Davida received the title of CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) and in 2006 created Davida’s Kitchen & Tiles. The new showroom followed shortly thereafter where she continues to offer personalized designs to her clients for nearly every situation, no matter how unique the area!

Marge in-charge

I knew from the moment I stepped into Davida's showroom that she was the contractor for me. I had met with a few contractors but none with the design sense of Davida. I had a vague idea of what I wanted but she fine tuned it for me, and I love love love my bathroom. Friends tell me it is "spalike". Luis was punctual, so hard working, so professional. I had withdrawal when the work was finished. Stop looking and call Davida. Maureen, too made us feel so special!!!!!

Fairly high-end bathroom remodeling job. Gut-and-rebuild. I liked that all work and materials were contracted through a single business. There weren't separate contracts for materials and a contractor. Davida is very knowledgeable about fixtures, tile, cabinetry and finishing materials. Took only a few weeks to put together a materials list and price the project. Of course we also knew what we wanted (layout) and liked (materials). Very price competitive. High quality of workmanship, and no hesitance about correcting problems identified in the course of construction (and there are always problems). Completion to schedule was reasonably ok, but we were more focused on the quality of the work than we were on a specific schedule, so it was more their schedule than it was ours. Everyone there very friendly and easy to work with. Very clean rebuild...even though everything had to be torn out, mess was kept to a minimum and there was no damage in the process. Will have photos soon to attach.

Davida and her crew transformed our small, dark kitchen into a bright and open functional space. Davida's creativity and her encouragement to think outside the box made the selection process in her fabulous showroom so much fun for my husband and me. I would never have chosen such a beautiful backsplash without Davida's guidance. The new flooring on our kitchen level is contemporary and perfect for our pet-filled house. Three years later, I still smile every morning when I walk into our kitchen.

Davida designed a kitchen and laundry room remodel which included expansion and construction. Her design took into account every detail of form and function. She resolved design challenges with a creative eye that made the remodeled spaces so much more functional with a wow factor. The contractor Davida recommended was so easy to work with, delivering on time, and addressing every question and challenge with no problem.

Selections of stone--marbles, porcelains and ceramics---were made easy with her excellent range of current and beautiful options. She is very skilled in helping plan out designs for bathrooms and kitchens. Cabintry too was an easy accomplishment with Davida's expertise. I look forward to bring other clients to Davida.

Davida did a great job taking our vision of a mid-century modern style home and helping us pick out the tools for the bathroom and kitchen of our dreams. She had great knowledge of the process and while she regularly gave us options to choose from, many times her first suggestion ended up being our choice. We love love love our kitchen and get compliments on it every time someone sees it. She really helped transform our home and did so within our budget. There were some hiccups with the timeline and ordering process, but nothing drastic. You can't go wrong with a space designed by Davida.
