Eric Miller Architects, Inc. specializes in custom residential, high-end commercial projects, and interior design. Eric Miller, AIA balances the vision of his clients with site features to create buildings with character defining appearances, resulting in highly experiential works evocative of a response to place. Eric Miller opened his award-winning architectural firm in Pacific Grove California in 1987, and has since completed over two hundred projects in Carmel, Pebble Beach, and throughout the Monterey Peninsula. Eric strives to identify each client’s individual goals, guide them through the design process, and translate their concepts into a built reality. The architectural team coordinates the design with engineers, and consultants, and will successfully guide clients through the design review and permitting process.

Lisa and Steven Schatz

We think Eric is extremely talented and we have used him to remodel a 1950's "Carmel Cottage" in Carmel, CA. . Eric added modern touches and came up with cool finishes and unexpected design details that made the house both interesting and unique but also understated and elegant. He has a great understanding of working with strict permitting and utilizing every inch of square footage allowed. Eric Chez

We hired Eric Miller after an exhaustive search for the right architect for our needs. Eric listened intently, and created a design that is spectacular, and suits our needs, not his. The office staff and Eric are great to work with, and their excitement to build a fantastic home is palpable. Were about halfway through our project and, so far, its been a joy.

I have worked with Eric Miller Architects for several years and consider him one of the preeminent architects in the Central California Coast region. His firm's work is forward looking, at times daring and innovative, yet always well grounded in the regional vernacular. Miller Architects is the complete package, from superb architectural design, to top shelf interiors and surprisingly original landscape design. Being an architectural photographer, it is always helpful when an architect provides lots of "eye candy" and Miller's creations do just that. The Monterey Peninsula and Big Sur are some of the most beautiful places in North America. And Miller's buildings add to that beauty by working in harmony with the dramatic seascapes and rugged hills of the California Coastline.
