Astonishing. While we are INDEED dedicated to customer satisfaction and professionalism Mr. Williams neglected to include a few details. All of the plants chosen for the new landscape are generally accepted as "deer resistant", however everyone with so much as a passing knowledge of wildlife knows that animal behavior cannot be predicted with 100% confidence. It is a curious fact that some of the plant species we planted are present in the some of the neighbors' landscapes and haven't been bothered by the wildlife. Another fact that wasn't mentioned, it was Mike's suggestion from the very beginning of the deer damage to use motion sensored sprinklers to fend off the deer from browsing on the plants. It wasn't until Mr. Williams finally installed these sprinklers that the deer learned to go elsewhere for a meal. But nonetheless Mike agreed to bring new and different plants to replace many of the plants that were damaged or missing by the wildlife before his big event at the lakehouse. Mike made it very clear from the beginning that wildlife damage couldn't possibly be "warrantied", no more than one could warranty plants against hail damage. Warranty and insurance are 2 different concepts. Mr. Williams' invoice was discounted substantially because Mike agreed to "help him out", no good deed goes unpunished. Two months, 3 emails and 1 text message to Mr. Williams with no word until this review. Mr. Williams if you would like to discuss this in depth, please feel free to contact us.
