Firemaker

I have worked with Firemaker on two projects to date , both requiring bespoke stoves. The design and customer service are second to none and the end products have been stunning . They are absolute experts in their field and I would't hesitate to recommend Filemaker if you are looking to commission stove or BBQ.

I have purchased a number of quality of items from Firemaker and been 100% satisfied with their service and workmanship. The barbecues we purchased have proved be a great hit with the weddings we cater for, cooking over 200 in a year across all our venues. When designing our extension, we started looking at log burning stoves to create a feature. Having done a fairly exhaustive internet search where we discovered that anything out of the ordinary was frighteningly expensive and frankly not really what we were looking for, we were pointed in the direction of James the Firemaker by an acquaintance. A series of emails and telephone conversations followed during which we explained what we wanted and James showed us a number of suggestions. The requirement for a door created a few stumbling blocks but between us we came up with the rather unusual flap down door enabling the fire to become a stove instead of the rather less efficient open fire (a feature that did not seem to exist on anything else we could find in the swivelling circular fire market). Deposit paid and the fire ordered, we were given the specification for the supporting structure to be built into the ceiling and when the time came and the building work was almost complete, James delivered the fire and even assisted in the installation. The result is a fantastic fire which is the focal point of the room and a talking point for anybody seeing it for the first time. It was delivered on time and budget, the design is exactly what we wanted and the workmanship is superb. I would wholeheartedly recommend James for anybody looking for something out of the ordinary.
