A home with character, one that feels like it has evolved naturally. Pieces of interest, comfort and history. A home with a soul. This is the home I strive to create for you. Together with a team of vendors and craftsmen I offer full interior design services. My interiors could be described as having a French aesthetic with a refined California twist. I was born and raised on the French island of Reunion, studied business in Paris, interior design in San Francisco and have been practicing residential interior design for the past ten years.

Projects are unique so it's difficult to estimate what a typical job cost is. Is it a decorating project? Are walls or plumbing lines being moved? Is an addition/new foundation planned? Often in a remodel project I won't know the total cost my clients incur as most of it is not billed by me. I charge hourly but my overall project fees tend to range from $5,000 to $40,000.

Florence is fantastic! My husband and I hired her to help us refresh several rooms in our home (living room, dining room, family room, breakfast room, master suite closet). She is incredibly talented, thoughtful and creative. Florence was able to incorporate many of our cherished antiques into a new design that is comfortable, striking and easy to live with. We are re siding our home with non-combustible material. Florence was able to guide us in making beautiful color choices that fit with our home's style and setting. Going forward, we will work with Florence to refresh two bedrooms, a study, two bathrooms and our entryway. We can't wait to work with her again!

Highly Recommend!!! My husband and I hired Florence to help us with a large renovation on our home in 2019. She helped with all design aspects of the renovation, as well as, helped us select all new furnishings. She has exquisite taste and was simply amazing to work with. She collaborated seamlessly with our GC & his team to design layouts and cabinetry. She listened to our desires, helped us discover our style, and never pushed us in a direction that we weren't comfortable with. She was always very communicative, mindful of our budget, and timely with all of her deliverables. She has amazing sources for very unique and interesting pieces that we otherwise would never have been able to discover on our own. Also, if ever a problem arose, Florence handled all issues with secondary vendors on our behalf with utmost professionalism and in our best interest. Aside from all of the above, she was simply lovely to work with. Our family is so grateful to her for truly making our house feel like a home; a place where we now love living and look forward to making lots of memories for many years to come.

We undertook a major kitchen renovation, and I honestly don't know what we would have done without Florence. Her attention to detail, proactiveness in working with our contractor, and unparalleled design aesthetic made the project a raving success. Florence's expertise extends well beyond that of a typical interior designer. She was able to draw up the initial plans for our kitchen, coordinate building specifications with our contractor, and manage the construction project through completion. Additionally, she was not afraid to speak up and work directly with the contractor and his sub-contractors to rectify any issues along the way. If you're up in the air about whether or not to hire an interior designer for a major renovation, unless you have considerable experience managing residential construction projects, you will be absolutely overwhelmed. Hire Florence, make your life easier, and your home absolutely stunning!

I just recently finished a project turning my dark, drab living room into a light, warm, inviting space. Florence was incredibly helpful in choosing the right colors, fabrics and styles that fit the space. She is both artistic and practical. Before beginning a small remodel, I consulted with Florence to help make decisions on kitchen cabinets, counters and wall color. Our home is a small mid-century ranch, but the style I like is cottage. She was able to make suggestions that was a lovely blend of the two. The kitchen cabinets she suggested are perfect, the counter top, in her words have "quiet movement" and we love the wall color for the living / dining room and kitchen. Florence is wonderful to work with, very easy and comfortable. I highly recommend her and look forward to working with her on "Phase 2" next year.

Florence has completely changed my quality of life with her design of my place. I love having guest over but was always embarrassed that my place wasn't a representation of me. Working with Florence was a dream come true. She asked me for a few simple words that would describe the feel that I was looking for; I mentioned to her "Cool and Jazz" wasn't really sure what she would do with that but she ended up making magic with those two simple words. Florence is a visionary and true perfectionist of her craft. I highly recommend her!
