We needed to furnish a whole house and decided to visit FLS. I’m kind of cheap so we went to the outlet building first and spend 5 hours there - got a $30,000 dining table & 8 chairs for $4,000, a $7,000 full grain leather sectional for about $2,000 and my favorite Alder & Tweed table & 6 chairs for our kitchen at a savings off retail of about $5,000. We’ve since been back a few more times and have scored more gorgeous high-quality furniture pieces for insanely discounted prices. Delivery has taken up to two weeks b/c we’re about 90 mins away but you are also able to take your purchases with you if you’re able. I don’t think I’ll ever buy anything from the regular part of the store (the non-Outlet) because I can’t see spending crazy money if I don’t have to. Definitely, absolutely, positively worth a visit if you enjoy high-end furnishings but not the prices.

Honestly baffling customer service. My fiancee went and purchased a table to be shipped to us as we are purchasing a new home. This table had a good price, but we were not able to take it with us home so we paid extra to have them ship it ($100).
IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BUYING FROM FLS, PLEASE TAKE YOUR PURCHASE WITH YOU AS SOON AS YOU BUY IT OR YOU MAY NEVER SEE IT AGAIN.
Day before we are going to receive the table, they call us and tell us the table is not on the truck, and "missing"... they said they might be able to find it, and strung us along for 3 more weeks. Beyond unprofessional, and I am sure they are going to just put it back on the floor to sell for more money.
We will not be furnishing any of our home from this location, and we recommend anyone that is thinking of coming to this location to shop elsewhere. We have seen many reviews and a commonality is the shipping service is atrocious. Save yourself time and money and shop and ship elsewhere.
Hopefully our return is not "lost in transit" as well. How do you lose a 120lb table in 3 days? and can't find it for 3 weeks? you have terrible service or a sketchy practice, that's how.

Debbie Kennon is the best salesperson and customer advocate I have ever worked with on any furniture ytransaction. Debbie is incredibly organized, knows every furniture vendor and can guide you on quality relative to price. She has direct relationships with the furniture maker reps and will hustle to get your order processed and delivered. She will even make sure you have any issues handled correctly even though FLS has a customer support team. Debbie should be running Furnitureland; she is the best!

I contacted Furnitureland South on July 15,2020 because I want to purchase a sleeper sofa. I sent photographs of my home/room so the designer could get an idea of my style and colors. Fabric swatches were sent to me. My last correspondence with the designer I was working with was on July 23, 2020 in which she indicated she would research different lines for my space requirements. I never heard back from her. So, on August 11, 2020 I called the sales department asking for someone who might follow through with me. I was told another designer would call me to get the ball rolling again. It has been 4 days and I have yet to have anyone contact me. Their customer service for clients who depend on telephone sales (I live in NYS) is very unprofessional and lacking. I will take my business elsewhere as they obviously do not care about it.
UPDATE 9/8/20: Subsequent to my unfavorable review, I was contacted by Matt to see if he could be of assistance and apologized for the lack of service from the prior salesperson. Matt was responsive, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. His follow up made me feel like a valued customer and I am happy to report that I placed an order today for a sleeper sofa.
2/12021 UPDATE: WORST FURNITURE BUYING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Seven months after my first contact with Furnitureland South and I still do not have my sofa! It has been FIVE MONTHS since I ordered it and as of today, they still do not have my sofa. When I ordered and paid in full for my sofa I was told 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. Didn't happen. Then I was told "early January". Didn't happen. Then I was told they would have delivery to their distribution center on February 8th. I also received an email from my salesman saying it would be in the warehouse by Wednesday or Thursday (2-11/12) and I will be hearing from the delivery department by the end of the week. I just called and was told they don't have it. If could, and hadn't paid for the sofa, I would cancel my order. Please be forewarned....this is a horrible place to do business!!! Take your money someplace else!
2/19/21 I was told my sofa would be at their distribution center on 2/15 or 2/16 and I would be contacted to schedule a delivery. No one contacted me and it appears no one knows where my sofa is or cares. I requested that my order be cancelled and a full refund issued as I have paid in full in September, 2020. They have had my money for 5 months and refuse to refund. Please beware of this company!!!!

Throughout this, starting in August, No apologies, empathy, reimbursement / discount. Tina was not communicative and then eventually puts away message up that she is no longer in the role but no direct contact to go to , so keep calling and talking to new people waiting to see where these missing handles are and if an order was actually placed for them. Blame is constantly placed on 4 hands, but ultimately you are customer interface and should take responsibility to help process run smoother.

- [ ] desk date kept getting pushed back, but no one notified my so I eventually canceled as I had no idea when I’d actually get it
- [ ] 2 night stands ready for shipment
- [ ] Received call that night stands damaged and wouldn’t be shipped
- [ ] 2 night stands ready for shipment again
- [ ] Received call that only 1 night stand would ship and that the other was back ordered for months
- [ ] 2 dressers ready for shipment
- [ ] Received call that dressers damaged and wouldn’t be shipped
- [ ] 2 dressers ready for shipment again - I confirmed that it included handles as I didn’t see them in photo and was assured it did
- [ ] 2 dressers delivered but 1 was missing handles - requested for handles to be sent
- [ ] 5 handles sent - requested 3 additional handles as not enough were sent
- [ ] 2 night stands ready for shipment again - noticed they had a duplicate Charge and had to call to resolve
- [ ] Current status: I am awaiting the dressers - not feeling assured they will actually be delivered. Waiting on handles so I can actually use dressers, and can’t get clear confirmation on a ship date.
Worst customer experience I’ve ever encountered and will be sharing with my broader community.

**Worst customer service! ****Ignored by sales rep- Jason, unless I am ordering g more furniture for him to get commission from.**When furniture comes damaged, nothing is done to resolve it. Don’t accept the furniture at the door and get a refund!***ordered furniture in February, cooperative due to COVID, and resolutions are not being made

Pillows with my sofa never came. Multiple furniture pieces have scratches -promised to send a repair rep???!! No sight of one. Sales people could care less about your concerns unless it’s about making money.

I ordered a dresser over 3 weeks ago and got an email saying that it was discontinued. I tried calling my sales consultant, the lady that sent the email, and a manager...all went to voicemail and no one has called me back. This place is a joke. DO NOT purchase from this store!!!

We purchased a King Hickory sofa fior $6,000. We do not have kids or pets. After 6 monthsit it is completely falling apart. When I contacted the store I was told that it was normal wear and tear and there was nothing they would do.

I see a lot of mixed reviews on this company - and I read a lot of them before taking a leap of faith with them with a huge order. I cannot say enough positive things about this company...vast access to an array of top-notch furnishings and lightings; and the service to back up huge and small orders alike. I love working with the people there...they seem to genuinely care about the company and the customer.

Words cannot describe how horrible ordering from this store has been. They are extremely nice at the time of order. But, once an order is placed they are nowhere to be found. They lie that the items are in stock but they are NOT. They promise that in-stock items will ship out in 2-3 weeks, but since the items are not, they don't ship out for weeks on end. They don't respond to calls or emails for days...sometimes weeks. Then when the "manager" supposedly picks up the phone and tries to help - she does the same thing the sales rep did - does not follow up on the problem and does not keep promises. The bed and dresser I ordered that was supposedly in stock - is NOT and I have to wait another month (after waiting for 5 weeks already). Oh, and they charge NY tax even though they dont have a store in NY. They are horrible in EVERY single way. TWO THUMBS DOWN.

Cannot say enough about the quality and beauty of my new desk. Gerard was my sales guy and he did a terrific job with recommendations and suggestions. When this merchant says 'white glove' delivery', they mean it. In and out and left the place very clean. The guys and gals involved in aftercare were the best!

Great selections of all the best brands. The staff is wonderful to work with especially on special orders. Great place to take clients looking for large furniture orders because its one stop shopping and the delivery fee is great. I will keep coming back for my clients and my own personal needs.
