From the beginning in 1955 when Arthur Griffiths founded Purewell Electrical with the help of his wife Doreen (who sold her car to buy the first stock), we have been striving to improve the lives of the residents of Purewell and Christchurch, by providing the technology that makes people happy. Since 2014 we have been offering Design, Supply and Installation of quality kitchens to suit all budgets. Our kitchen studio is located on the mezzanine level of our Christchurch Superstore. With a hand picked range Wilson Fink German made kitchens on display you can browse the current ranges and the discuss making your dream kitchen a reality with our experience Kitchen Designer. We are proud to work exclusively with Wilson Fink. We offer free design consultations and home-measures to help you ensure you are getting the kitchen that will suit your family's needs. Plus our experienced advisors will help you select the best built-in appliances for your new kitchen. Pain free, caring guidance and assistance from a great team. From choosing the units and planning the layout, to tracking down the 'white goods' I wanted, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Great team of fitters to fit the units, quartz counters and glass splashbacks. Excellent support from Paul who enabled me to achieve my 'dream kitchen'. Thank you Purewell.

Delighted with our new Kuhlmann Kitchen from Purewell. The designer, Paul, and other staff were great to work with and they regularly communicated throughout the process. After Paul initiated stage 1 CAD drawings he was more than happy to tweak the design so that we could install a few extras, including a general working area to suit our needs. Kitchen feels excellent quality and was professionally fitted by two great carpenters. Keeping traditional elements was important to us in our old victorian cottage but we still wanted to upgrade & update. The panelled version co-ordinated with all our internal doors in the property and made a change from the standard shaker style. This dark room now feels light and airy with space to move. Thanks guys.

Our new Purewell kitchen looks wonderful and clearly shows off the quality of the cabinets, the doors and the fitting and finish. As each part went in, base units, cupboards, top to ceiling plinths, splash-back, hood, worktops and then the floor it all started really coming together with a matching theme. The overall look just improved and improved. It looks great and it was lovely to see my wife beaming as she was showing her new kitchen to her mum! Paul was creative and co-operative in the design, solving several issues which our kitchen presented e.g. changing the entrance door to open outwards into the hallway, to permit a sizeable central island. 3 other kitchen firms had been given the same challenge and had all failed and had tried to "force" us to accept not having an island. Paul worked collaboratively with us to enhance the first design to create the kitchen that we wanted. This was in complete contrast to another firm (Homebase) who insisted on knowing what was best for us. Our thanks again for the excellent design, service and advice along the way. We have no hesitation on recommending Purewell to others.

Having purchased kitchen appliances from Purewell for years I knew that I would get a fantastic level of service and they did not disappoint! David was extremely helpful, designed everything I requested as well as things I hadn't thought of. I am delighted with my new kitchen. The kitchen and appliances were designed, supplied and fitted by Purewell, all on time and all in budget. Highly recommend.

I had often shopped in Purewell and was always impressed with their price and service, so I was confident to ask them to design my new kitchen. The design process was fun and I was given good advice. Paul listened to my ideas and added his own. I have ended up with a fabulous design that included everything I had asked for and some that I would not have thought of. The quality of the cabinets, together with the hinges and sliders are first class. The worktop was beautifully fitted and looks gorgeous. The whole process was a pleasure and I was fully kept informed of the delivery dates and time scale of the fitting. With all bespoke builds there are always a few tweaks to be made and this adds a little time, but it was all completed in the estimated time frame. The one appliance that has improved my kitchen the most is the ‘boiling tap’. My favourite cabinet is an angled pull-out larder.
