My husband and I recently purchased a bungalow loft in Oakville, Ont. which was in good condition but still required some work to create the clean, modern, yet tastefully inviting look we desired. Our initial plan was to remodel the master ensuite, replace the kitchen along with all the flooring and finally repaint the whole interior. In the end we decided to reconfigure two additional bathrooms and the master walk-in closet. Also, refinish the stucco ceiling to flat. A much bigger project than was initially planned. After looking through prospective candidates on several websites, we finally decided on David Gimza of Glenabbey Contractors who we found on HOUZZ. We were sold on David based upon the uploaded pictures of his previous projects, reviews and prompt action. We found David to be a consummate professional. He was polite, patient, easy to communicate with, and prompt to respond to any concerns or additional requests. David remained flexible to our different ideas and attended to the changes in the plan with the same level of enthusiasm as when the project started, even though it meant a later than scheduled completion time.
