I really enjoyed photographing the project at Palm Harbor, FL. I can see that Gina from Fitz simmons Design is a very creative person, she is an artist. We got some beautiful shots that were well balanced and had great impact.

We bought a new house that needed a lot of updating. We hired Gina to help us with the many projects that needed attention. She has nailed it so far. Three bedrooms with baths, powder room, and presently a full basement. Everything has come together beautifully. Everything is skillfully planned out downed to the smallest detail. She and the builder have gotten along great which has made the process so much easier. We have several more projects and Gina will be helping us with those as well.

I’d never worked with a designer but had heard of my designer’s work and experience, Gina Fitzsimmons, ASID, 410-269-1965 www.fitzsimmonsdesign.com. Gina created a stylish environment and highlighted some of my personal possessions/furniture I wanted to keep. She understood about “us” and how we live to create an affordable, functional, new, beautiful space. The rooms have something to say about us who live in them, you can share your own ideas and taste. After spending almost two years on a renovation, we brought Gina in to bring cohesion to our open space kitchen, two-story eating area and family room. Gina has a wonderful ability to understand her clients needs and brings her design ideas to the table that more than meets those expectations. She offered us a couple of options, my husband and I really liked that. And she offered unique ideas to make our rooms special. Gina really cares about her clients and it is very obvious to us that she spends the time needed to make the best presentation possible to her clients. It is with great pleasure that we write this recommendation. We could not be more pleased with our end results!

Great interior designer. I needed someone with experience and knowledge to coordinate the interior design of my new home. She was able implement my ideas in conjunction with her own expert design flair to get the result I was looking for. That was 10 years ago, and is still stunning. Gina is working with my daughter and husband in their new home and I love her work, so asked if she would do a small job. She added a chaise, drapery panels, carpets and accessories that are stunning! I couldn't be more pleased with Gina's amazing creativity. And she stayed within my budget! Gina is a gifted pro!

After spending almost three years in the design of our "forever home", we contacted Gina (who we had used on a previous small project) to take over the overall interior design. Working with the architect (Sandie Martino and Jane Atalig at Hammond Wilson) and the Builder (Gary Smith), Gina expertly captured our vision for every facet of the design; coordinating everything throughout the house from wall colors, to cabinetry, to tile, to furniture, to window treatments, to all accessories. She took our favorite pieces of furniture (including family heirlooms), artwork, and treasures collected over our lifetime and elegantly integrated everything into the comfortable "home" we now enjoy. The journey extended across almost two years of construction with many "Gina" touches added along the way. Now complete, we look back with wonder at how she could see all the pieces coming together before we were even sure of what the pieces were. We were not likely Gina's easiest clients, attention to detail and hundred of questions about why this or why that made for some interesting discussions. We couldn't be more pleased and we'll continue to recommend Gina to all of our friends who always ask the basic question--who pulled all this together for you--it's exquisite!!

We purchased our townhouse and arranged for Gina to help us with remodeling and making it OURS! Started with the main floor bathroom/powder room. Converted the tub into a walk-in shower. The tile work and replacement vanity were spectacular. Next came the color change for the entire main living space. Loved the flow of the various spaces and the inclusion of grass cloth on the "accent wall" in the Family Room. Finally, she designed the complete overhaul of the Master Bath. Soaking tub, dual vanity with central tower, expanded shower with inside/outside seat. Last but not least, the heated floor. We have had a relationship with Gina for over 20 years and she has been involved in our homes in Ohio, Washington, DC, and New York. A fabulous job and a great friend!

Christine’s Interiors

I recently downsized and wanted to keep a few pieces of my old traditional furniture while at the same time wanted a fresh coastal feel with soft colors and clean lines. Gina took those pieces and worked them into my new coastal theme. My new home is warm, updated and simply beautiful. I love it. I can’t wait for my next project with Gina!
