I AM (formally known as I O Architecture) was established in 2012, and provide our clients with expert architectural design services. With over 15 years experience in the industry, our team deliver on a diverse range of projects including multi-unit residential, hospitality and office fit outs. The result of our long history together is a shared approach to architecture, design and service delivery. I AM encourage a collaborative studio environment where we develop design solutions that respond to the unique features of a site, distinctive requirements of the brief, and the lifestyle of the client. Rather than adhere to a specific architectural style, we consider the site, planning, materiality and natural light, incorporating architectural Ecologically Sustainable Design (ESD) features to enhance the experience and comfort of spaces for the occupant. Very happy with the outcome from Edmunds design and management of our South Melbourne Terrace renovation. We have now been in residence for 3 years following that renovation and are delighted that everything works and just naturally seems to be in the right place. I have been using Edmund of IAM for the last 5 years on all my custom build and plan projects as well as those requiring town planning. He has a keen eye for detail and always comes up with plans that flow well eeking out space from small areas to make the main areas of living larger and airy. I appreciate the ability to meet and fine tune details at any time. Charges are very reasonable. Projects have ranged from $300k to $1.5m. I would recommend him and IAM to other builders and owners looking for the above services.

Edmund is an absolute professional. His knowledge covers all facets of building and design. He will listen to your idea then advise and plan. His service includes dealing with the local council to obtain permits, full house design and management of the construction process. Very happy to refer my clients to IO architecture

As a Real Estate Agency we have been dealing in Wyndham with a lot of sub-divisions and developments. We have worked with Edmund for many years and he has been wonderful to ask questions regarding sub-division, property development & extensions. Over the years Edmund has spoken with our clients to help them better understand their property and even been a speaker at Investors nights workshops. Our experience with IO Architecture was a great result after inviting their services on our behalf to various, useless, overpaid,council departments. Apart from council "doing my head in" the stress relief by Io Architecture stepping in and being persistence proved worthwhile and finally gave us our expected and deserving result. The fees charged were reasonable and regular communication regarding our project was excellent. We recommend your next project to IO Architecture for a complete service.
