We did the project several years ego, and the warranty covers up to 1 year against materials and workmanship. We don't use kits or thin materials, all connections are welded so nothing will ever come loose. We always honor any issues with our rails unless there is damage due use other than its intended use, or if a surface near our railing comes loose to affect our rails. Our products and installations are solid, however they are only as strong as the weakest attachment point, which in this case is the loose bricks.
The brick around the railing has come loose due to the poor mortar and grout lines letting in water and braking up after freezing. There is nothing we can do to secure our posts, unless you have someone come and fix your brick side walk and stairs. Our stainless posts are made using thick materials and are only as strong as the base we are installing the posts in. This was explained to the customer, but they don't seem to understand or care.
