I brought in Marie and the Plews team to consult on some very neglected apple trees and the effect of their roots on a retaining wall which holds one side of a pond. The result of this conversation was that the trees would need careful pruning over several years to restore but that there was a more immediate issue with a rapidly spreading clump of bamboo! This in turn lead to a redesign of the border, the lifting and resetting of the pond (to remove said bamboo) and a planting scheme that was both wildlife and cat friendly, while providing year-round colour and interest. Watching two grown men chase frogs and newts was a distinct bonus! I now have a retaining wall that isn’t being damaged by bamboo, some beautiful, well bearing fruit trees and a stunning border that I love to look at and walk around every day.

My wife and I needed the rear of our garden to be cleared up after a fire and completely re-designed. I had met Marie at a networking event and decided to get a quote from her company. After discussing some ideas we were more then happy to go ahead with Plews as we felt very secure that they were going to do an excellent job. We were not disappointed; what Nathan and his team did with Marie popping in to check progress was and still is just superb. In every aspect from overall knowledge, customer care, professionalism and the general quality of their work; we couldn't fault them and would be delighted to use them again. We are now able to sit at the back of the garden with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down!

I have a problem with standing water in large areas of the back garden. Marie gave advice that was both practical and decorative. A very useful meeting.
