Jillian Aimis is a Toronto based registered architect with over 14 years experience developing her expertise in architecture, interior design and fine art consulting. Her corporate, commercial and residential projects are distinguished by their seamless integration of architecture and interior design, their fine detail and craftsmanship, and her very personal composition of natural materials, furnishings and art. Each project stems from a solid foundation of design excellence, budget and programming control, proficient project management, and an eye to achieving the best possible value and architectural quality. Jillian works closely with clients and trades, contributing her experienced and intuitive understanding of design and construction to translate needs and desires into three-dimensional reality.

We hired Jillian for a difficult task - to design a contemporary home for another architect (my husband). We needed someone flexible, collaborative and who excelled in interior space as that was not our strength and we found it all in Jillian. Jillian truly excelled at the interior details and has a strong sense of what would work (or not). It was a great collaboration and we couldn't be more pleased with the result!

It was a great experience working with Jillian on our renovation/new addition of our 1950's home. She is a talented lovely professional who was involved in every stage of the project including doing the architectural drawings, the interior design and working with the builder and the trades. Jillian was accessible and advocated for us. She was able to listen to our needs resulting in our house being both beautiful and functional. Our house now flows on the inside and the exterior of the modern addition works well with the original house.

We hired Jillian to design a total renovation for our mid-century modern home. She was incredible to work with. Eleven years later and we are still getting compliments as if it were just finished yesterday. She is professional, confident, talented, innovative and sophisticated in her approach. Not only did we love working with her, all the trades from general contractor to subs respected her and liked working with her. I highly recommend her - especially if you want exquisitely detailed modern.

Jillian was the interior designer for our home which we built in 2010. We couldn't be happier with the result of this collaboration. Jillian is very confident of her ideas but was very accommodating with our needs and wants for the interiors of the house.

We hired Jillian to completely renovate and add on to our existing home. We are so pleased with the results. Jillian was a pleasure to work with and was always available from the beginning to the end of the project. She always respected our budget and found savings where possible. She referred us to the appropriate contractor for our job. The whole experience was very easy due to Jillian's experience and expertise. I would not hesitate to work with Jillian again.

A commenté : I really like the floating stair design - is the riser steel?It’s a steel stringer and the treads have metal in them and are welded to the stringer. The wood wraps around the metal tread plate.
