During the time of Covid with building departments shut down and supply chain disruptions, JH Basement still came in on time, on cost, and my basement turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined!

Rose and I decided last summer to have our unfinished basement done. We met with several contractors but Joe Hannah stood out far above the others. He was so professional in his presentation and covered his proposal and costs with specifics. Shortly after we got the proposed plan and cost projections. It was right on target. His sons Joe and Paul were the on-site managers and we were so very impressed. They were so polite and professional and to say they are hard working doesn't even begin to say enough. And each of the sub-contractors.....plumbing, electrical, sheet rocking, painting, tile and granite guys were all so very professional. This company has so much integrity....I would recommend them highly and would be glad to take any phone calls with questions.

For a long time my husband and I wanted to finish our basement but didn't want to hire anyone we weren't absolutely sure of. My husband and I bought our home last year and it needed a lot of work. Being new to the area we weren't sure where to start. Our neighbor recently had her basement finished and could not stop talking about JH Basement Finish Company and the amazing job they did. After seeing the work they did for my her, I decided to call them. Although complete home remodel is not what they typically do, Joe agreed to come out and give us an estimate. Joe was great! We decided to hire JH Basement and they began our job a few weeks later. We were so impressed with everyone that came out to our home. All of Joes subcontractors were not only kind, courteous and professional, but they all did amazing work! Our job included carpet and tile tear out, removal of old cabinetry, vaulting our kitchen ceiling, moving bedroom walls, removal of popcorn ceilings, texture and paint throughout, new bathtubs, toilets and cabinetry, granite installed in the kitchen, bathrooms, and on our window sills, and new carpet and tile flooring throughout our home. Everyone did such an incredible job! My husband and I have decided to refinance and had our home appraised last week. The appraisal came in for $60,000 more than we bought it for just last year! Joe was absolutely right when he told us we were not spending $53,000 but instead we were investing it! I have never been happier with a company than I am with Joe and his subcontractors at JH Basement! I highly recommend them!

I recently had the good fortune of finding and ultimately doing business with a basement finishing business. From start to finish it was painless. My basement was transformed from a concrete vault that had provided nothing to a beautiful area that basically increases the square footage of livable area by 30 %. . we will enjoy for years to come. My husband and I hired Joe and his crew to do some remodel work on our townhome a little over a year ago. We were so pleased with their professionalism, price and hard work that we hired them to finish our basement in our new home this year. We have a 1000 square foot basement that we knew we wanted to be an entertainment space but we weren’t sure how to design it. Joe came over, heard what we were hoping to get out of the space and then drew up a plan that exceeded what we thought possible for our basement (including an additional exterior door for our walkout which added tons of light and made the inside flow to the outside maximizing our entertainment space). We were thrilled with the design and Joe and his guys started right away. 7 weeks later our basement was complete with fireplace, family room, game room, work out space, wet bar and full bath- we love it! I highly recommend Joe. He was on time, professional and true to the contract. If we ever need work done on the house Joe will be the first one we call.

My Testimony. When I went to finish my basement I had a lot of reservations… Am I going to get my investment back? How much money will it take to do it right?? What design/layout to go with? Will it match the upper levels? How painful will the process be - managing contractors, dust/mess, cash flow? As such, I shopped 3 different companies. I ended up going with Joe and JH basements. We hired JH Basement to finish our basement in January. They did a wonderful job and made it very simple for my family. We bought a house in Aurora, it was built back in the 60s. The basement was in awful shape, only one room was finished and by finished I mean makeshift walls, wood paneling that was painted light purple and it smelled horrible because the crawl space was damp. We contacted JH Basement and they gave us several ideas that were affordable for us. Once we agreed to a plan they came in, were very professional, completed the work ahead of schedule, now we have a beautiful basement, our space is useable and we are pleased with the outcome.
