Julian Design

I’ve hired Julian Design for several projects now, big and small. Julie Ann quickly assessed my taste and there was no wasted time dithering over this or that. She always listened carefully, was professional in demeanor and with her chosen workers, and had vision for any future changes as well as incorporating what I had. Delightful to work with. Highly recommend!!

I really can't say enough about the quality of service I've received from Julian Design. It has been such a delight to work with Billie. She completely understood what our goals were and "got" us in terms of our style, attitude, etc...and captured it perfectly in her design recommendations. We've had a wonderful collaborative relationship throughout the process (and still ongoing...we have many projects to follow!) and I can say sincerely that she greatly exceeded all expectations I had about working with a designer. I highly recommend the entire Julian Design team!

Julian Design helped us transform from 'builder beige' to a home we love with color and a design that meets our family needs. We are a busy family and there was appropriate amount of time/input from our side - but they made it easy to make some big impact changes to our home.....we're now onto project #6 with them. :)

The designer took the 3-4 things we wanted in the kitchen/family room and ran with it. In my opinion she killed it! No one I know has anything like our kitchen. She took what was a very pedestrian design and made it unique. Many people have made the coment that the kitchen looks french or provincial. That is the exact look we wanted. Very easy and fun to work with...

I worked with Billie at Julian Design. It was a wonderful experience. Billie became involved from the time of purchase of an older condo that needed help. The finished condo is absolutely beautiful and I can hardly believe it is mine! Billie was so kind and a wonderful guide thru the whole process.

Julie and daughter Billie are truly amazing! They get to know exactly what fits your lifestyle and taste. Everything they chose for 2 multimillion dollar homes for us is still amazing 8 and 10 years later. Each time I walk into our Lake Mtka Home or Palm Springs I am totally in LOVE with each room all over again. Total design from cabinet hardware to all window coverings, faux painting choices, lighting choices, tile, bathroom fixtures. They worked closely with the architect and builder and where involved in every part of the home. Exterior materials used in Mtka were so unique and classy. They are so far ahead of their time. Things they picked 10 years ago are now just hitting the marketplace. I also witnessed the amazing job they did for one of our employees on a lake home remodel. Again it was an amazing transformation within the budget Rhonda set for them. Would never do any remodeling either without them and their expert help.

We were looking to do something new with our living room. We had gone to the big names (Gabberts, Ethan Allen, Room and Board, Macy's Home Store, etc.) and kept getting the same basic ideas and designs. After a few weeks we walked into our last stop, Julian Design, and finally found what we were looking for - something completely original that went beyond the furniture. Billie came over to our house, measured everything, asked a lot of questions and somehow came back with the perfect design we were looking for, including some things we hadn't even thought of! She came over a few more times to verify fabric patterns for the furniture and drapery, furniture and rug style and fit, color ideas and wall art. Once we had it all laid out, we couldn't wait to get it all in! We had one issue with a leather recliner we had ordered where the piping on the arms wasn't right. Both Billie and Tiffany (who did an amazing job of informing us and keeping schedules, added design suggestions, and managed the follow up and product delivery) came over to review the chair and contact the manufacturer of the issues. They were going to take the chair for repair when it was discovered the manufacturer was out of the leather dye lot used. Their solution was to leave the chair with us until a brand new replacement chair could be delivered. Before it was shipped, they had a quality expert visit the manufacture who wouldn't allow it out the door until it was perfect. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Julian Design to anyone. They were accommodating, respectful, fun and we now have a living room we love. All our future projects will start with them!
