Home Builders Association of Western Michigan

The Home Builders Association of Western Michigan (HBA), established in 1941, is the professional association for members of the housing industry. Builder members consist of residential contractors, remodelers, and developers. Associate members represent all professions that support the home building industry. The HBA exists so that members of the residential construction industry can ethically and efficiently provide our communities with safe, quality, and affordable housing. It is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders [www.nahb.org] and the Home Builders Association of Michigan [www.buildingmichigan.org]. The vision of the organization is to advocate on behalf of members so they maximize their capability for success in the housing industry. The goals of the HBA are to promote home ownership, be a recognized voice of the community, support economic growth and development of the community, and to promote the professionalism of members in the industry.
