I'D GIVE SIX STARS IF I COULD!!! Having had less than mediocre experiences with designers in the past, I was very careful about who I selected this go round. With a full, top-to-bottom project in a large, 3 bedroom, luxury condo, it was important to get it right and Kate Hayes was amazing! Not only is she wildly talented (great eye and taste level), but she is flexible, FUN to work with, and eclectic enough to appreciate a wide range of possibilities and design elements. I cannot say enough good things about her and her team and will gladly recommend them whenever I can. In fact, I look forward to my next project so I can partner with her once again.

I was very reluctant to hire a designer. The whole idea made me nervous. But, I also knew that I needed help! I looked around for a while for a good designer and finally found Kate on Houzz. I am thrilled that I called her because she has turned my home into something that I absolutely LOVE. The cost of a designer is well worth it when you see the final product. It is the most rewarding money I have ever spent! Back to Kate! She is amazing at what she does. She is very professional yet at the same time very easy to work with. Kate redesigned nearly every room in my house including kitchen, bathrooms, master, dining, playroom, hallways. Kate took our style into consideration (vintage, mid century) when designing our home and choosing new furniture. Thus, the final product felt very true to our style but much more classy and fresh. Kate pulled together every room in our house to create a cohesive and beautiful space. I wanted someone to take charge and that is what she did. But, at the same time, she was very laid back, easygoing and fun to work with. She was very hands on; overseeing the contractors, shipments of furniture, painting, wallpaper, tiling, etc. This was a huge plus for me as I did not have the time to do this. We went out of town for two weeks and Kate orchestrated most of the installation/deliveries/painting/tiling during this time. It was amazing to come home to a nearly finished product!!! Kate is really great to work with. I was sad when our project came to an end. But, I will definitely be calling her again whenever I need design help or just to have a glass of wine and catch up!

Kate was fantastic to work with. We hired her to help us with the design of our condo in Buckhead. She brought a unique perspective and matched our aesthetic through her recommendations and overall vision for our space. She was a pleasure to work with and took care of everything soup to nuts. Kate handled a full design job for a condominium in Midtown Atlanta. Kate created the design plan and supervised the complete installation. She worked closely with me, the resident, to ensure that the requirements and requests I had were met. Kate stayed within the budget and helped explain adjustments that were made to ensure the highest quality standards were met. While we have strong feelings about most furniture, we were paralyzed by the overwhelming number of choices and have discovered over the years that a haphazard collection of lovely pieces is not enough to pull a room together or ensure that the room works with the rest of the house. Kate quickly understood our esthetics and presented us with limited ranges of furniture, color, and fabric choices, all within our budget, that helped us narrow down the seemingly infinite possibilities. If at times we struggled with a decision, Kate patiently explained to us why some choices would work better than others, but also understood when we stubbornly clung to an heirloom and was able to work it into the overall design. Not only was Kate a pleasure through the whole process, so were the contractors she recommended for plastering, painting, tiling, wood working, and whatever else the job required. We strongly recommend Kate to all our friends who love what she has done in our house, and we will use her again on our next remodeling project.
